I recently spoke with @ErleNorton at @WSJ to talk about leadership and staying challenge-driven. When you lead a company from day one to $3B+ in revenue, every milestone presents a totally different challenge. Early on, it was simply proving we could build something people wanted. Today, leading an entire company through the agentic AI platform shift requires a whole different muscle: conditioning the organization to embrace change. As leaders, especially during tech shifts, it’s tempting to look for an expert playbook. But the reality is that no one has all the answers. You have to trust your instincts, get out of the building to listen to customers, and give your teams a reason to care about where you’re going.

Great to see the momentum behind Personal Agent Protocol, and proud that @Okta is helping shape it.

It was great to spend last week visiting with employees, customers, and partners across Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. I saw firsthand how European companies are moving every bit as fast on AI agents as companies in the US, but hitting the exact same challenge: The broad access that makes agents more capable and valuable are the very things that introduce new security risks. To innovate without sacrificing security, organizations need visibility and control over their agentic stack. They need to know where agents are, what they can do, what they’re actually doing, and how to respond if something goes wrong. Right now, every vendor in the market is claiming they can do it all, leaving enterprise customers confused about how to actually secure their AI roadmaps. Our goal is to bring clarity to that conversation: explaining how @Okta provides the necessary identity foundation in collaboration with the broader ecosystem through the @the_blueprintai. We closed out the trip by joining a town hall at our office in Amsterdam. EMEA is a massive driver for Okta, and our local teams are executing with incredible focus to help our customers succeed. What we offer customers has never been more relevant and the opportunity ahead of us in the region is massive. Thanks to everyone across EMEA who made this trip so impactful. AI agents can unlock enormous opportunity, but only if organizations have the visibility and control to move fast without sacrificing security. At this year’s Oktane, I shared how we’re working to make that possible: bringing customers and industry leaders together through @the_blueprintai to co-author a multi-vendor reference architecture for the secure agentic enterprise; advancing Agent SSO and Cross App Access so agents can connect securely across systems; and announcing powerful new capabilities in Okta for AI Agents that give organizations greater visibility and control over agent identities, access, and activity. The agentic platform shift is moving fast. Security and innovation both have to move with it.

No one company can secure agents alone. That’s why @Okta has teamed up with leading organizations across the industry to launch @the_blueprintai. The Blueprint Alliance is a multi-vendor coalition that brings together leaders spanning identity, AI, data, applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, including @awscloud, @CrowdStrike, @Databricks, @Docker, @GoogleCloud, @Lovable, @Okta, @Proofpoint, @Salesforce, @ServiceNow, @wiz_io, and @Zscaler, along with strategic advisors @GEAppliancesCo, and @WCKitchen. It’s an active commitment across the ecosystem so organizations can operate their agentic stack as a unified, governed system. Today the Blueprint Alliance also published the blueprint for the secure agentic enterprise. Co-authored by alliance members for open use, this multi-vendor reference architecture shifts security from the traditional network perimeter to a unified, zero-trust, agentic control plane. It gives technology leaders a practical framework to answer four key questions for the agentic age: Where are my agents? What can they do? What are they doing? And how do I respond?

I always appreciate the chance to talk with @jimcramer in person. He gets right to the heart of the issue: AI agents are becoming more powerful, and companies need a practical way to maintain control. On @CNBC’s Mad Money, we talked about why the right discussion in companies isn’t about slowing AI down; it’s about prioritizing the visibility and control they need as agents gain access to more data, applications, and systems. Identity is the foundation: You have to know where your agents are, what they’re connected to, and what they’re doing.
