CORRECTION: Mark your calendars!!
Offtoberfest is Sunday September 27th from 11am until 9:30pm at @ocmousetrap!
We’ll have two brand new stein designs for our Keep the Stein event this year including our first ceramic stein with wrap-around art!
More details coming.
A brand new seasonal variant of our hard iced tea is coming out soon. Swing through Mousetrap today for a sneak preview of Apple Cat Fiend on draft before the upcoming can release. We’ll let you know here when cans are available. 🍎🫖
Our original hockey beer is back!!
Beer for the Top Shelf (aka Beer for Hockey) is a classic Vienna style lager dosed with a hefty amount of late harvest maple syrup sourced from southwest Michigan.
The maple syrup sugar ferments out almost completely and leaves the lager surprisingly dry with a mild woody note and slight mineral character derived from the maple trees. Melanoidins similar to light brown sugar remain to compliment the sweet nutty flavor of the Vienna malt.
Now on tap and available to go at Mousetrap and around Chicago area. #chicagobeer #offcolorbrewing

Another baa-rilliant season 🐐🐑
The O'Hare Grazing Herd is finishing up its 13th season of helping maintain our airport landscape before heading home to Wisconsin later this month.
We sure will miss them when they goat!

It was the only open establishment between my 4pm and 5:30pm meetings. I regret nothing.
Think of it as a Big Lebowski themed co-working space.
A customer came in and asked what day it was and we told them it was October 3rd. Pretty cool moment.
Off Color Brewing .25l cat glass is back in stock! You all have been asking about this one a lot and, based on our behind the bar depletion, taking it when you found out it wasn’t for purchase. We get it. It wasn’t for sale and you wanted it. All is fair in love and glassware.
That said, we ordered a bunch more and have them at the taproom/put them online for you to purchase, so moving forward we’d prefer you acquire them that way. Please and thank you. Link below.

Only a couple dozen ceramic steins left of over 500. There’s a healthier amount of the glass steins left.

Early arrivers to today’s Offtoberfest Keep the Stein celebration, get ready for donuts! We teamed up with Firecakes to make an Oktoberfest donut Bismarck donut filled with Bavarian cream, coated in a “Waddle” Oktoberfest infused icing & topped with brown butter pretzel brittle.
