Nigeria’s pension regulator has unveiled Pension Revolution 2.0: Stronger Pensions, Stronger Nigeria, a programme aimed at expanding access to retirement benefits and reinforcing the country’s pension system as a cornerstone of national development.
The initiative is described by the National Pension Commission as the most significant reform since the introduction of the Contributory Pension Scheme in 2004.

सीकर सांसद कॉमरेड अमरा राम के सवाल के जवाब में श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी सरकार का OPS के संबंध में जनविरोधी रुख फिर स्पष्ट ,केन्द्र सरकार ना तो OPS लागू करेगी जिन राज्यों ने OPS लागू कर दी है, उन प्रदेशों के कर्मचारियों से NPS में काटी गई राशि लौटाई जाएगी।

केन्द्र सरकार सरकारी कर्मचारी की ओल्ड पेंशन स्कीम फिर से लागू नहीं करेगी। केन्द्र ने यह भी बताया है कि वे राज्य जहां ओल्ड पेंशन स्कीम फिर से लागू की गई, उन राज्यों का पैसा वापस लौटाने कोई प्रावधान नहीं है। केन्द्र के पास अकेले राजस्थान के सरकारी कार्मिको का 50 हजार करोड़ से ज्यादा की राशि न्यू पेंशन स्कीम के तहत पीएफआरडीए खाते में जमा है।
