$RKLB Looks like we’ve acquired a now former Amazon Senior Director of Manufacturing Finance. Tracking production costs, capital spending on facilities, and margins across launch and space systems would fall to this kind of role. A hire from Amazon's operations side could point to a push for tighter cost control and forecasting as volume grows. H/T @Gykiwi03
$RKLB 🌏✨️ Snagging a Senior Director of Manufacturing with five years of experience at a high-volume supply chain giant like Amazon is a huge win for Rocket Lab. Work history is impressive, dedicated employee.

I'll throw in a second one for fun. Not as cool since it was earlier into flight but once I saw the plume glow like this, I knew we were in for a show!

It might not have been as vibrant as last week's, but the jellyfish were out again today! SpaceX launching a Falcon 9 on the Bandwagon 5 mission, a rare (these days) southeastern launch. Being southeast of the launch made for a great side-on view right around sunrise. Learn more about what launched from @NASASpaceflight nasaspaceflight.com/2026/10/…

What is a differentiable manifold? Here is Lecture 3 of Frederic Schuller’s course on classical mechanics, translated from the German. His classical mechanics course was the one left in German, so I’ve been building a pipeline that translates each lecture while preserving his voice and cadence, with LaTeX PDF lecture notes to boot. This is huge: By Q1 2027, SpaceX plans to have three Starship launch pads and demonstrate in-orbit refueling for HLS! NASA’s roadmap has a lot packed into the next two quarters: Q4 2026: First V3 booster catch First Ship catch First Starship launch from the Cape First V3 booster reuse Q1 2027: In-orbit propellant transfer demo Second Starship pad at the Cape, LC-37, complete If they pull this off, Starship’s flight rate could look very different next year.
NASA just dropped some fresh HLS updates at IAC 2026. Artemis III is still targeting NET Q3 2027, basically a low Earth orbit dress rehearsal where Orion docks with the Starship HLS test article (no Moon landing yet). SpaceX side: Q4 2026: first Cape flight (currently NET Dec 10) + Cabin 1 done Q1 2027: cabin ops testing + propellant transfer demo Q2 2027: airlock & landing leg demos Q3 2027: first tanker for the uncrewed demo Q4 2027: uncrewed lunar landing demo Still aiming for the first crewed landing on Artemis IV in early 2028. A Moon base means landing rockets near hardware already on the surface. Four NASA lander missions awarded for late 2028 will each carry SCALPSS cameras to film engine plumes hitting lunar dust, data for models that predict erosion and ejecta. nasa.gov/news-release/nasa-a…

People fail to realize $RKLB has some of the most Mars-heritage hardware out there.
28.1 miles on Mars, powered by Rocket Lab hardware. NASA's Perseverance rover has now driven 28.1 miles (45.2 km) across the Red Planet in just five and a half years, breaking an off-world driving record that took Opportunity nearly 15 years to set. Rocket Lab solar panels powered Perseverance's cruise to Mars, then on the surface, Rocket Lab Robotics (formerly Motiv Space Systems) hardware helps turn those miles into science — from the Mastcam-Z camera mechanisms that zoom in on targets, to the 7-foot robotic arm placing instruments against Martian rock with sub-millimeter precision. Every mile is another step in the search for signs of ancient life.

$RKLB’s market cap is currently sitting at $35B. The last time it was around this level was in December last year. Yes, we’re talking dilution-adjusted. The company hit an $85B market cap on May 28. A double from here would put it at a $70B market cap and a share price of roughly $110, assuming no further dilution. If not sooner, I think we could see that by next summer, when we have more clarity on the launch timeline in Q1, the Iridium acquisition closes, and Neutron’s first launch gets closer than ever. A good entry for long-term holders.

Neutron slipping into 2027 is obviously disappointing but I would much rather $RKLB lose several months fixing a known manufacturing issue than protect a launch date and increase the risk of losing the vehicle. The details are also much more reassuring than headline because Rocket Lab says problem came from tiny voids forming inside thicker sections of carbon composite dome after redesigning the structure to eliminate joints which makes this look much more like a manufacturing process issue than evidence that underlying Neutron architecture is flawed. I will say that Rocket Lab isn't giving a new launch date until stage one testing finishes in Q1 so realistically I think first flight moves into middle of 2027 and potentially later so that obviously pushes out the biggest near term catalyst but the important distinction is that Rocket Lab doesn't need Neutron revenue tomorrow to survive because Space Systems already represents ~80% of revenue while the company has built a record backlog around $2.4B across satellites, components, spacecraft and government programs. Thats also why I think market and long term investors are going to view this very differently because if your thesis was Neutron launching in Q4 and creating a near term rerating then a several month delay matters a lot but if your thesis is that Rocket Lab can become one of only scaled vertically integrated space infrastructure companies outside $SPCX then a manufacturing delay matters much less as long as engineering problem gets solved and rest of the business keeps executing. It is also worth remembering that SpaceX failed its first three Falcon 1 launches before eventually building one of most valuable private companies in the world but I do fully expect market to punish Rocket Lab because it prices the company quarter by quarter but I'm buying it over next decade.
$RKLB has pushed Neutron’s inaugural launch into 2027 delaying its entry into the medium-lift launch market.
