🚦 We have engineers on site at Newton, where a signal fault is disrupting West Coast Main Line and local @ScotRail services. We're working to repair the fault and get trains moving ASAP. We're sorry if your journey's been delayed. More soon. @AvantiWestCoast @TPExpressTrains

🚦 We've made a temporary repair at Newton to allow trains to move again. Services are still being disrupted, and we continue to work closely with @ScotRail, @AvantiWestCoast, @TPExpressTrains and @CrossCountryUK to manage congestion. We'll share another update shortly.

🚁 Our Air Operations team are the eyes in the sky. Using thermal imaging on our helicopter, we identified an overheating overhead wire component near Uddingston on the West Coast Main Line. This meant we could intervene and fix it before it could disrupt your journey.

⚡ Work is now well underway on our 18-day closure of the railway around Fife, as we make great strides forward on our £311m Fife Electrification project. It continues until 28 October. Here's one of the new masts going in that'll carry the overhead wires at Kinghorn. 🤩
