Last night, NCGA’s D.C. office brought in staffers from congressional offices to ride along with farmers all over the Corn Belt during harvest. This was the first time, for many of them, seeing harvest in action. They had a chance to ask questions and learn about modern farming from the source.
There’s a strong business case for thinking about corn differently. Harley Janssen, NCGA Dir., Business Development & Stakeholder Relations, has been spreading the word about corn’s adaptability and ability to be a solution for many industries and applications. Corn was recently represented at New York Climate Week, covering everything from the value chain to sustainable fuel, cover crop programs, and much more. Thanks to @FieldtoMarket for your partnership.
During harvest, farmers don’t have the option to slow down. In addition to harvesting their crop, they also transport it to grain elevators, ethanol plants, and livestock facilities around the Corn Belt, to feed and fuel the world. We appreciate @POTUS and governors around the country recognizing the importance of this critical time and taking steps to reduce the price of diesel fuel.
Help us welcome and congratulate these additions to the NCGA Corn Board! These farmers have stepped up to advocate for corn growers on a national level. We appreciate their commitment and look forward to working together.

Meet the new President of the National Corn Growers Association, Matt Frostic is a husband, father, grandfather, advocate, volunteer, and farmer in Applegate, Michigan who is stepping up to represent corn farmers across the country.
Serving as president of the National Corn Growers Association is a calling, and it's one Jed Bower answered without hesitation. As his term as president comes to a close and he steps into the role of Corn Board chairman, we want to recognize everything he has given to corn growers over the past year.
Jed spent this year as a volunteer, and he gave it his all. He traveled the country, often far from his farm, his friends, and his family, to make sure corn growers had a strong voice wherever it mattered. Whenever farmers across the Corn Belt needed him, whether it was a late-night call, a last-minute trip, or a tough conversation, Jed showed up.
Back home in Washington Court House, Ohio, Jed raises corn and soybeans on a fifth-generation family farm with his wife, Emily, and their children, Ethan and Emma. That deep connection to the land has guided every decision he's made on behalf of the farmers we represent.
Jed, thank you for your steady leadership, your generosity with your time, and your passion for this work. To Emily, Ethan, and Emma, thank you for sharing him with farmers everywhere. We're so glad Jed's leadership will continue as chairman, and we can't wait to see what comes next.
