Rutgers CB Bradlee Jones could be heading for a big season at Rutgers, story per @KristianRDyer 247sports.com/college/rutger…
NCAA v. Alston made clear that “college sports” is not an antitrust free zone. A BIG Ten/SEC ban on former NFL players seeking a 5th year of eligibility under the new 5 for 5 rule may have legitimate competitive-balance goals - but a coordinated, penalty-backed exclusion of athletes from the market still needs evidence, a real procompetitive benefit, and no less restrictive alternative. Players deserve more than labels. Expect a flurry of litigation as the college football season is about to kickoff. @agentmuck
