We’re protecting jobs in Waterloo Region and across the province by unlocking new markets, lowering costs, and building a stronger, more self-reliant economy.
Ontario continues to lead the nation in eliminating interprovincial barriers that cost the Canadian economy up to $200 billion annually.   By ensuring we have free and fair trade within our own borders, we’re unlocking new opportunities for workers and industries, lowering costs and strengthening our economy for generations to come. 🇨🇦

We owe it to our brave police officers to ensure they have the tools they need to do their jobs safely. We’re urging the federal government to take the actions below to protect our officers and communities they serve.
Police officers put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. The least we can do in response is have their backs, no matter what. Today, I wrote to the Prime Minister outlining a series of practical steps to support and protect our brave women and men in uniform.

Mike Harris retweeted
Buy Ontario. Buy Canadian. For governments across Ontario, it’s not an option. It’s the law.
Now, more than ever, we need a Team Canada approach to protect our workers, businesses and communities.

Yesterday, I wrote to Ontario’s 444 municipalities to make clear our expectation that they fully comply with Buy Ontario policies and maximize the use of Ontario and Canadian goods and services.    In the face of U.S. tariffs, every procurement dollar matters. Together, we will stand up for our workers, strengthen our economy and protect Ontario.

Ontario’s wildfire response is built on a proud history of aviation innovation. Yesterday in Sault Ste. Marie, I toured the @BushplaneCentre and saw the aircraft that helped inspire the modern technology we use today. We’re proud to continue building on this history.
