👑 BITCOIN HISTÓRICO | 11 & 12 November
"Saying what everyone else is thinking." 🔥
Excited to announce that @michelleweekley will be joining us at BITCOIN HISTÓRICO this November at the National Palace!
Michelle is building the future of bitcoin infrastructure at @ByteFederal and bringing her brilliant insights straight to Centro Histórico.
We know what you're thinking ... that you absolutely MUST get a front row seat to see this!

The loudest opponents of Bitcoin seem to be those who either missed it, dismissed it, or sold it early, and each of them appear to be driven by nothing more than painful regret.
The year is 2030, your computer regularly tells you “sorry, I can’t do that.”
You will own nothing, you will live in the control grid and you will be happy.
LED lightbulbs are a crime against humanity.
Researchers gave office workers who lived under LEDs a 60W incandescent desk lamp. Two weeks later, every one of them had their color vision improve by 25%.
In 2022, the government banned those bulbs for "wasting" energy.
But that "waste" is actually one of the most important nutrients our bodies depend upon, and the improvement lasted for weeks after the lamps were taken away (while nothing changed in the controls).
Decades of forgotten research show the artificial light we replaced it with is a root cause of many inexplicable illnesses (e.g., insomnia, obesity, cancer, and hyperactivity in children).
Here I show what that research found and why Senator Mike Lee’s bill to bring these bulbs back, which has now cleared a Senate committee, matters.🧵

The year is 2035. AI has taken over the internet. Nothing online is real anymore. Every video, every influencer, every girlfriend, every news story is fake. So everyone logged off.
Digital work was obliterated and automated. The most valualbe skills are now cooking, fixing a truck, farming and fixing things with your hands.
You moved to the land with your wife and 5 close couples.
Farmers and mechanics are the new millionaires. Dinner parties are the new social media. People write letters again. Your kids grow up barefoot, climbing trees and eating steak and eggs instead of scrolling.
News? the only news is your 6th kid on the way.
Turns out AI didn’t destroy humanity. It just made the internet so fake that we finally went back outside.
High trust societies are so beautiful it’s awe inspiring.
The biggest mistake tourists make in Japan is dragging a fifty-pound suitcase up and down subway stairs.
Watch how Japanese travelers board the bullet train. They walk on with a cup of green tea, a small shoulder bag, and both hands free.
Where is their luggage? It is already in the next city, waiting for them.
In Japan, the system is called Takkyubin, recognizable everywhere by a logo of a mother black cat carrying her kitten gently in her mouth.
When you check out of your hotel in Tokyo at eight in the morning, you hand your heavy suitcase to the front desk, fill out a tiny slip, and pay about twenty dollars. You can even send it straight from the corner convenience store.
Then you spend the entire day wandering through mountain temples or eating street food with nothing on your back.
When you walk into your traditional inn in Kyoto that evening, your suitcase is already standing neatly in your room, wiped clean, with the handle turned toward you.
In fifty years of handling millions of bags a year, lost luggage is virtually unheard of.
A society runs smoothly when you can hand your belongings to a stranger at a convenience store and know they will beat you to your hotel.
Stop complying.

You just walk, quickly and confidently, straight out past those dumb ass receipt checkers.
Sometimes I even wave. 👋🏼

I've built a website I always wished existed: a collection of all the books written about Bitcoin.
I've found 110 of them. If I've missed any, let me know in the replies.

Self custody is not for everyone.
It can be for anyone but it is not for everyone.
Stop taking technical “advice” from paid promotions and podcast bros.
“Just self-custody your Bitcoin, bro.”
Self-custody in 2026:
• Coldcard: weak entropy, ~$116M stolen
• Ledger: customer data leak + hardware implants, $86M+ stolen
• Trezor: 80,689 customer records leaked
• Trezor again: 347,149 emails exposed
• Keystone: authentication key stolen, 18,835 wallets being destroyed
• Keystone again: USB exploit capable of seed extraction
• SafePal: 39,798 customer records exposed
• Foundation Passport: 23,000+ phishing attempts
• BitBox: email list stolen + phishing campaign
• BitBox again: multiple critical firmware bugs
• Tangem: physical password-reset exploit
Self-custody is still the answer.
But damn, HWW companies have had a YEAR.

Saying there’s no reason to buy Bitcoin because anyone can create a cryptocurrency is like saying there’s no reason to learn English because anyone can invent a language.
I, for one, feel completely vindicated.
And everyone who gave me a dirty look for pulling a plastic straw out of my purse over the past ten years, go kick rocks.

My favorite Bitcoiners tend to be the ones who focus on "Freedom Go Up"
That definitely includes @michelleweekley and @efenigson. Check out their '24 conversation (it aged well) here:

And come see both at @btchistoricosv Nov 11-12 in Bitcoin Country 🇸🇻
The Californication of the rest of the United States will complete the transition into a third world country.
It’s not doom, it’s not black pilled. It’s just facts.
The timeline is not absolute but the trajectory is.
Plan accordingly.
I hate to be this cynical, but I’ll be honest…running for Mayor exposes you to things that make you believe the city is actually being overtaken by demonic energy. Drive south Fig at night. Go to 6th and San Pedro. You see children openly prostituting, drug zombies setting dogs and cats on fire, babies born to crackheads and tossed in a dumpster, dead people just lying in the streets…that’s not even to mention the dozen neighbors of ours who burned alive in what is now a crumbled hellscape.
Many times I wondered if the city’s problems weren’t beyond the reach of any politician’s capacity to actually fix. There is a cultural and spiritual rot that can’t be fixed at the ballot box. Until we fix the culture, we are kinda just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic and the shit we shovel around every 4 years doesn’t really mean a thing.
I’m a Russian bot.
🚨 #BREAKING: Leaked audio reveals Flock CEO told police chiefs Americans against mass surveillance are actually Russian bots.
Some people who plan to disappear into the woods better figure out how to evade LiDAR.
Some people is me.
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks.
By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time.
Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.
A lot of people have absolutely no idea what it looks like to truly build something or to run a business in the current environment, and it shows.
