"Democrats appear to have flipped six governorships and held all 18 of their own, exceeding even the wildest hopes... The results are a huge victory for the DGA, which came into the cycle with the once-ambitious task of winning an overall majority."

The real implication here: the Kansas Supreme Court now almost certainly stay Democratic until nearly 2050.

Let’s give it up for a record ~15~ Dem women governors! I’m beyond thrilled that we will have these leaders holding the line in the states and charting the way forward on affordability and opportunity. This was an all-hands-on-deck effort, from the campaigns to the DGA, and I’m grateful for how hard they worked to expand the map and support a new generation of leaders. Let’s get to work!

Congratulations to all of the Democratic governors-elect across the country. I’m proud to be standing with you in the fight to protect our states from the Trump administration’s attacks.
Welcome to the club!

The DGA had a historic night and now 30 Dem Govs will represent 3 out of every 4 Americans.
Our team is proud that a big part of that success was working with state parties and local partners to build the largest comms embed program in the country and the DGA's history.

Adding onto this, we're about to have the most @DemGovs in over 30 years and three gov races next year - great time to join the get shit done caucus.
