The playbook will go something like this: 1) win back the House and Senate, and hopefully the Presidency in 2028; (2) admit DC and Puerto Rico as states, which doesn’t need a constitutional amendment, to gain 4 new Senate seats and cement control; (3) pack the Court, which only requires a change to the Judiciary Act of 1869, not a constitutional amendment; (4) eliminate the electoral college, which is unconstitutional, but not when you have a rigged court that finds the ‘loophole’; (5) flood the country with pliant migrants, swamp the natives, and hold power indefinitely.

AI as the killer of open source. Open source software is great because it means you don't have to write everything yourself from scratch. Saves a lot of time. For humans, that is. AIs, however, can write an entire new framework from scratch in a few hours, so this doesn't matter so much. The cost of open source is that every attacker knows the code they want to attack, and they will eventually find exploits. Even in the language itself (e.g. php). The same logic applies to languages as to frameworks. We use Python because it is easy for humans. There is no need to use Python from an AI perspective. Just write a new language with the capabilities you need for a given service and use that. It will have no public code, so there is nothing to learn exploits for. In fact, maybe you should write your own operating system too. The general solution to these attacks is to avoid all open source code entirely. Ironic, because open source code gave birth to AI. It's the more general version of StackOverflow leading to AI leading to no StackOverflow.

Aline started working at age 12.
Over the next three decades she built La Barrique, a restaurant in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, from scratch. She cooked, served, and became part of the neighborhood.
On October 17, rioters broke in, destroyed the place, punched her in the face, and set the building on fire.
By morning her restaurant was ashes. 34 years of work, vaporized in a single night.
Obviously, Aline is an immigrant, one who went to work every day, contributed to the economy and served her community.
One of liberalism's fatal flaws is the fear of drawing distinctions. Distinctions between men and women. Distinctions between cultures. Distinctions between countries.
Because apparently noticing any differences means that you are violating your commitment to equality; it means that you are discriminating, and in the hierarchy of evils in the liberal world, there is no worse sin.
This is literally baked in to the French national motto:
Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité
Égalité means equality, specifically social or political equality.
Which means that drawing any distinctions is the same as discrimination.
But this is completely untethered from reality because these distinctions are REAL. And if you craft and enact policies that ignore these distinctions, the chickens (ok since this is France, the Gallic rooster) will come home to roost.

Trump with a message for France:
“What's happening in France has to do with immigration — not schools, not anything — it's immigration. I told Macron, 'Close up your borders!'"

We can’t let this spread to America & I’ll make sure it doesn’t ever happen in Ohio. End sanctuary cities. Prosecute Medicaid & visa fraud. Work with ICE rather than against them.

Once again we’d like to thank Macron and France for showing the world what socialism, open borders and Islamification looks like.

Fucking hell, they just did it!
The BBC actually described the Islamo-leftist riots burning France to the ground as “MOSTLY PEACEFUL”!
But Danny Tommo puncturing a people smuggling boat is terrorism to them.
Defund them NOW!
Second amendment doesn’t seem so crazy when you witness a shop keeper trying to defend their property and livelihood does it?

France has the highest social spending of any country in the world
A nice old building burns, and so the pearl-clutching begins. Where were these pearl clutchers when austerity was wrecking a generation? Why does one town hall grab their attention but millions of schools, hospitals, and homes dilapidated by neoliberalism are of no importance?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
France's level of public social spending was third highest in the world at 30.6% of GDP in 2024. Excluding the pandemic, it is slightly down from its 31.9% high in 2014. Total public spending is 57.2%, second highest among large countries not at war and near all-time highs.

🚨🇫🇷 Jordan Bardella just looked a leftist MP dead in the eye and said it without flinching:
“It’s because of YOUR friends that thousands of shopkeepers are crying this morning.
Their windows are smashed, their businesses looted, their lives wrecked…
And you still have the nerve to show up and lecture me."
Brilliant and direct.

It's crazy to think that Sweden could have 66% fewer robberies, 51% fewer rapes, 65% less 'deadly violence' etc. if they did not have terrible migrants. One weird trick.

If we don’t wake up, the carnage in France is our future.
We need to return to law, order, and borders.
Western liberals imported the third world into France and other countries in the name of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were told it would lead to this and they didn't listen.
I pray that France, a beautiful country of amazing people, will stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn.
And I hope Americans are paying attention. This is the future congressional Democrats seek for your country.

Perhaps the best thing to remember when we see riots and arson attacks on historic buildings in France, or hundreds of drug addicts sprawled out on the streets of San Francisco, or thousands of murders per year in America’s cities, is that things don’t have to be this way. There are places in the world that you can visit that are not like this. There are a set of policy choices that we can make at any time that would ensure these things simply don’t happen, if our civilization had the will to enact them

Because that's what all the research into shoving these thrusters into a small vehicle is really for.

By comparison, it's starting to feel like like Elon Musk is the only living entrepreneur and every other businessman is just there to manage quarterly reports. There is literally no one anywhere innovating like he is.
