Reform claim to be champions of freedom, but only when it fits their narrow exclusionary definition. Bydd Plaid Cymru wastad yn sefyll fyny dros ein cymunedau a herio casineb a rhagfan Reform.

At 9:15am today, Wales will fall silent to remember those who were taken from us in the Aberfan disaster. 60 years may have passed, but we will never forget them.

60 mlynedd yn ôl, ar 21 Hydref 1966, lladdwyd 116 o blant a 28 o oedolion yn nhrychineb Aberfan, a achoswyd gan esgeulustod y Bwrdd Glo Cenedlaethol. Heddiw, cofiwn y rhai a gollodd eu bywydau, a safwn ysgwydd yn ysgwydd â chymuned Aberfan, nawr ac am byth. 🤍 60 years ago, on 21 October 1966, 116 children and 28 adults were killed in the Aberfan disaster, caused by the negligence of the National Coal Board. Today, we remember those who lost their lives and stand shoulder to shoulder with the community of Aberfan, now and always. 🤍

Why does Wales need more powers? This is a question we receive a lot, and it's a fair one. It's not about having powers for the sake of it. It's about making sure our nation has the tools it needs to tackle the challenges we face. So what powers are Plaid Cymru calling for, and what difference could they make? 🚔 Policing and justice: Powers over policing and justice would make it easier to join up the work of the police, courts and services such as health, housing and education to prevent crime and reduce reoffending. 🚆 Railways: More control over our rail infrastructure and investment would give us greater power to improve services, make trains more reliable and build better connections between communities across Wales! 🌊 Our natural resources: Control over the Crown Estate in Wales would enable us to reinvest profits in our communities just like Scotland does, and bring down energy bills. 💷 Fair funding: A fair funding settlement and more financial flexibility would mean more scope to invest in the NHS and the other vital public services we rely on, and enable us to plan for the future and respond to changing needs. Not powers for power's sake, but tools to improve public services, strengthen our economy and deliver better outcomes for communities across Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Reform’s disgraced former Welsh leader has defended his party over racist comments caught on camera, claiming similar investigations into Labour, Plaid Cymru and the Greens would uncover ‘anti-white racism and antisemitism’ ✍️Emily Price wp.me/p8Mk4U-1vig

The foul racism was to be expected. The appalling sexism was to be expected. None of it is surprising from @reformparty_uk
ITV undercover caught Reform councillors saying: • “If she was my daughter it would still be bath night on a Thursday… I’ll wash you properly this time” • “If she’d given me a hug I’d have fucking fingered her” • “Cut the cunt’s head off” ( Referring to King Charles while calling him a Muslim) • “Drag them out of their homes, stick them on planes and fuck them off to Pakistan” • “No more than 1% of the British population can be non-white” • Black kids = “fucking animals” • Used the slur “Paki” throughout • “I’ll take them out… you’ve got to kill or you’re going to be killed… these fuckers have come to rape and pillage and fucking kill us” • Train young men in “insurgency tactics” to go street-by-street, house-by-house • “I didn’t realise curry was an exchange that you could then rape all our kids” • Suggested burying pork chops to stop a mosque • “They should all be shot against the wall” Alan Feeney, Chris Whelan, Dean Miller, Raymond Dunning and Jamie Campbell should never get to work in the political field again.

ITV Exposure spent a year undercover inside Reform UK. ITV News has published the first findings. These are the words of Reform councillors, quoted as ITV reports them. Alan Feeney, Solihull councillor and deputy mayor, on canvassing: "If it's an Asian name, I'm not even knocking at the door, they're not voting Reform and I ain't wasting my time." He calls it "Alan's racist canvassing". On what he'd do: "You'd need a proper nuclear option, like literally drag them at their homes, stick them on planes and f*** them off to Pakistan. Which you'll never do in a month of Sundays." On winning power, recorded in February: "You've just got to be a bit savvy to get the broad appeal, then once you're in you can do what you want." Two Hounslow councillors, recorded in Makerfield. David Kerr: "You need to seem palatable to everyone to get them, to get [the majority]." Adam Parkins: "The stuff that people feel uncomfortable with, don't even announce it just do it... We just need to get f****** elected, that's all that really matters. We won't necessarily say what we are doing, part of the point is to not [say]." Raymond Dunning, Tameside councillor, in a pub, on what a Reform government should do: "I'd deport every other motherf***** in this country that doesn't deserve to be here and their children as well." Asked if he meant legal migrants too: "Even the legal ones." He talked of training "18-30 year old young lads" in the army "in insurgency tactics, so they can go street-by-street, house-by-house". A Reform official is heard saying the plan "would create massive civil unrest". Dean Miller, Bromley councillor: "We've been ethnically cleansed out of London." ITV also reports racist remarks from him about children. On the King, he claimed Charles is secretly a Muslim: "Apparently King Charles is a f****** Muslim. Someone from the inside saw a f****** prayer mat and all that in one of his f****** rooms. I think that's f****** traitorous. Cut the c***'s head off, sorry." Miller told ITV he was heavily medicated for a chronic pain condition at the time. He has resigned. ITV reports that Chris Whelan, a Solihull councillor, made sexual remarks about two female candidates, including that he would sexually assault one. He has resigned for personal and health reasons. Jamie Campbell, also Solihull, is quoted on a possible mosque: "go and buy some pork chops. We'll bury it in the ground." ITV says Feeney, Campbell and Whelan have yet to respond. Kerr, Parkins and Dunning have been approached for comment. Martin Roberts, a Pontypridd branch treasurer, is reported using racist language while canvassing in Caerphilly. He told ITV he was being humorous, regrets the language and denies being a bigot or an extremist. Reform's response: "Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced... a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations." Nigel Farage, July 2024, on bad apples: they "will be long gone, and we will never have any of their type back in our organisation. You have my 100% promise on that." Richard Tice says one person filmed was a "Tory plant" who knew they were being recorded. ITV says he did not name them but his description suggested Feeney, who defected from the Conservatives in 2025. That is Tice's claim. He has also accused ITV and Hardcash Productions of "probable criminal activity". I have seen no evidence for it. The full film is on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday 18 October at 10:20pm.
