Financial institutions are running on blockchains today. At that scale, RPC downtime and bad data aren't engineering problems. They're business problems.
Every serious team is quietly building the same fix in the back end: a few providers, a hand-rolled load balancer, retry logic, an on-call rotation. It works until you scale: maintenance piles up, bad data starts flowing in, and security gaps get harder to ignore. At one major institution, RPC and node issues account for 59% of all unplanned incidents.
Today we're launching Smart Router: one endpoint in front of the providers you already use. Method-aware routing, automatic failover, cross-provider consensus, reorg-aware caching, every chain, built-in observability. No migration.
Already in production at @krakenfx, @FireblocksHQ, @GK8_Security (by @galaxyhq), and @HypernativeLabs. Open-source core, a commercial self-host license, and a fully managed service.
The Cloudflare of blockchains. Routing is where it begins.
We've just landed in Singapore for @token2049.
Here's where to find us this week.
→ Tuesday:
Agentic Finance & Payments Summit, WalletConnect Pulse, the Onchain Lounge.
→ Wednesday:
Token2049 main event and DAS Asia, Galaxy's brunch, Kraken Pro After Dark.
→ Thursday:
Galaxy & Arbitrum brunch, the Utila luncheon at Caffè Fernet, Galaxy & Axis.
Fourteen events in five days. We're going to be busy!
But there are still gaps in the calendar.
Let's meet for 30 minutes? We'll 'route' our plans around it!

Token2049 week: your game plan, and a plan B for each day (5-9 October 2026).
We're Magma Devs. Our product Smart Router makes sure your blockchain app always has a backup plan.
Now you can have one too.
A thread 🧵
Known issues (three things to know before your flight to Singapore):
- MRT gates take bank cards. Foreign cards are charged sixty cents a day.
- A packet of tissues on a hawker table means the table is taken.
- Roads around the Padang and Marina Centre close from midnight on Wednesday for the Grand Prix. Allow half an hour more by taxi.
Why a deep infra engineering company wrote a travel thread:
Smart Router runs in front of the RPC providers a crypto business depends on. When one fails, it reroutes to a healthy one before anyone notices.
We are in Singapore all week. Book here:

NEXT WEEK!
We're going to Singapore for @Token2049!
🛫 5–9 October
@talbardavid, @yuvalxyz and @yaircleper are there all week to talk RPC orchestration for blockchain enterprises.
Smart Router is in production at Kraken, Fireblocks, Hypernative and Galaxy.
Two providers return different answers for the same block. Which one goes into your records?
Nothing in a standard stack keeps that comparison. The honest answer is usually "whichever one we asked."
Smart Router keeps it.
We'll be in Singapore for @token2049 Oct 7–8.
We wanted one place to check if the blockchain industry's RPC layer was healthy, so we built it.
All 15 major providers, one live incident feed.
We counted 57 incidents in the last 7 days.
6 are still open.

Don't trust, verify.
You pick which RPC providers Smart Router routes across.
The code that ranks them is public, so the ranking is checkable rather than promised.

Something broke. Your RPC provider went down.
DORA expects you to name the provider within hours. MiCA wants you to have five years of records on hand.
Get the info you need with Smart Router.

You can build an RPC proxy with a coding agent in a day.
Keeping institutional traffic running across hundreds of nodes, with sessions, fallback, and live provider ranking, is a much bigger job.
