It was a privilege to meet with @M_Fedriga, Governor of Italy’s Friuli Venezia Giulia region, in New York last week. His message was clear: institutions have a duty to combat antisemitism with concrete action — not just words. A true friend of the Jewish people. @WorldJewishCong

Non esistono ragioni per la violenza a Milano, a Torino, a Bologna… servono pene esemplari che siano fatte rispettare senza sconti o giustificazioni.

#ItalyUN and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region @regioneFVGit, in collaboration with the Group of Friends on Science for Action, organized the event "The Research and Innovation Ecosystem of Friuli Venezia Giulia " Today's discussion showcased #Trieste’s role as hub for scientific excellence and science diplomacy while confirming science's key coontribution to the implementation of the #2030Agenda, to strengthening scientific capacities in countries of the Global South, promoting women’s participation and leadership in research, and exploring the opportunities offered by emerging technologies and #AI. As 🇮🇹 PR @margiodi aptly underscored "Science diplomacy is a necessity. From health and energy to climate and artificial intelligence, none of the challenges before the international community can be addressed without science, and without broad access to scientific capacity." Special thanks to the FVG Region's President Massimiliano Fedriga @M_Fedriga, all the #UN diplomats and experts, @UNESCO among all, and to the leading international scientific institutions based in Trieste @ictpPWF @ICGEB #TWAS, #IAP and #OWSD who joined us today.

Antisemitismo allo stato puro. Se sei ebreo prima di andare a Reggio Emilia per un progetto devi firmare un documento contro l’occupazione di Gaza. Lo fanno anche per i mussulmani? Devono firmare un documento contro Hamas?

What looks like a student protest in Paris is becoming something much bigger. A Fox News Digital investigation identifies 50 organizations connected to France's protests, but only 15 are student or youth groups. The other 35 include communist and socialist organizations, labor unions, political parties and activist networks, raising questions about who's helping drive the movement beyond its original demands over school conditions. The investigation also traces international connections and efforts to amplify the unrest, including tactics seen in the United States. | @foxnewspolitics See who's behind the 50 organizations: foxnews.com/world/behind-fra…

The Nobel Committee has just awarded the Peace Prize to Navi Pillay. In 2014, as the UN’s top human rights official, she accused Israel and the United States of war crimes for refusing to share the Iron Dome with Hamas. Her reasoning was that Israel had a duty to hand its anti-missile system to the terror group so Hamas could protect civilians in Gaza, while that same group was launching rockets from those civilian areas with the explicit goal of killing Jews in Israel. A terrorist organization deliberately embeds itself among civilians, fires thousands of rockets at Israeli towns, and rejects every ceasefire that would stop the attacks. The UN’s response was to demand that the side under fire give its only effective defense to the attackers. This is the record that just received the Nobel Peace Prize.

A quanto pare sì, da quanto leggiamo sull’Ansa: trust.ansa.it/756013e6f370ae… Vergogna.

In an interview with the Danish newspaper Berlingske, Denmark’s former foreign minister Per Stig Møller recounts a highly compromising story about the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Navi Pillay. In 2008, when Denmark faced problems in Pakistan (a car bomb exploded outside the embassy) because of the Muhammad cartoons, Denmark turned to the UN - including the then High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay. On that occasion Pillay was completely dismissive of supporting Denmark. Her only recommendation to the foreign minister was to introduce censorship. That, she said, would prevent the problem in the future. I find it shocking that an opponent of freedom of speech can be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Navi Pillay, Sept. 2012: “Charlie Hebdo is doubly irresponsible to publish these cartoons.” She called the cartoons “malicious and deliberately provocative.” Pillay “fully understands why people wish to protest strongly against the cartoons.” ohchr.org/en/press-briefing-…
BREAKING: Denmark's former foreign minister “shocked” over Nobel prize to Navi Pillay. “She is not qualified,” says Per Stig Møller. When Denmark was attacked by Muslims over cartoons of Mohammed, Pillay refused to help. “Her response was that we should introduce censorship.” 🧵

A Fox News Digital investigation traces how France's student protests over education cuts are being hijacked by a sprawling network of communist activists, labor unions and far-left political parties — all amplified by a transnational propaganda machine funded by Neville Roy Singham, an American-born tech tycoon based in China who supports the Chinese Communist Party. Fox News Digital's senior editor of investigations @AsraNomani tracked 50 groups in a 'red-green alliance' involved in a transnational network organizing, promoting and amplifying the student protests in France. – Only 15 groups, or 1 of 3, is a youth student group The 35 other groups for adults are all left-leaning. – 12 labor groups – 8 communist or socialist organizations – 5 civil-rights and human-rights groups – 5 groups focused on issues from taxes to media – 4 political parties, including La France insoumise and French Communist Party – 1 Palestinian advocacy group On the ground in Paris, the hammer and sickle flies alongside Palestinian flags. The French Communist Party's national secretary poses with protesters. Far-left politicians from La France Insoumise pose for photos with students. Groups like the Young Communists Movement of France march behind bright red banners reading "Class War" and demanding an end to "Imperialist Wars." "What we're seeing here is the same Red-Green ecosystem that disrupts infrastructure chokeholds in our country such as the Brooklyn Bridge, college campuses and congressional hearings," says Heritage Foundation senior fellow Mike Gonzalez @Gundisalvus. In the U.S., BreakThrough News — a pro-communist outlet in the Singham network — pushes the protests to a global audience, racking up hundreds of thousands of likes, including from influencer Hasan Piker, on dramatic anti-police clips while laying the groundwork for the next student explosion, this time in India.
