Jonathan Gillis is just a worm in a suit isn't he
Unions are good
Currently binge watching videos of Mick Lynch basically telling everyone in the media to F**K OFF & now I feel like I can take on the world! Labour could do with some lessons in calling out bull & challenging from him
If your attitude towards a player's off-field behaviour (especially in matters as serious as sexual assault) is dictated by whether they play for your club or a rival club, your moral compass is messed up. It shouldn't change your feelings about their behaviour one bit either way

This is the reward system that undergirds our society. The one that has governed our elite’s passage to power. It’s not often so brazenly illustrated. Committing war crimes vs exposing war crimes

Where were you when Djokovic and Nadal defeated COVID?
It's incredibly interesting how the "freedom of speech" crowd are hugely motivated against freedom of speech and expression whenever they disagree with the message. Almost as if "freedom of speech" is not actually the issue at all and is constantly referenced in bad faith.
Gareth Southgate doesn't seem to understand that the BLM movement is not only Marxist but divisive too. England fans will hate this, they just want to watch a game of football.

Spineless Tory MPs have just overwhelmingly backed a Gov’t crackdown on the right to protest by voting through a bill that would "make a dictator blush" How did we allow our country to fall so low

I don't have a problem with the letter's message, but of the well-known, established intellectuals and pundits whose names I recognize, Noam Chomsky is the only who in my view actually upholds the values of open debate it claims to endorse. Many others are shameless hypocrites.

Everyone pushing an “outside agitators” narrative is a fool who finds it more comfortable to believe in some grand conspiracy than in the obvious truth that people have fucking had it.
