I didn’t realise that the Equality Act 2010 doesn’t apply to people living and providing services in the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Hackney, Haringey, Lewisham, Southwark and Waltham Forest.
Very strange. What other UK laws don’t apply in these areas?

The thing about human rights is that they are universal.
Supporting freedom of belief, speech and association means supporting the rights of the people you disagree with to form organisations and to advocate for their views.
Trying to sweep them away is "anti-rights" @AmnestyUK

The Federal Court of Australia has ruled that excluding a man from a women-only app is discrimination.
The man (who claims to possess an invisible female essence) said in a statement after the ruling:
"I now look forward to getting on with the rest of my life in the community we all know and love. One that embraces freedom and equality for all women."
As if this latest insane ruling finishes the deal: total societal acceptance and everyone lives happily ever after.
He appears totally oblivious to the fact that his actions — and the actions of all men like him who feel they have the right to force themselves into women's spaces — have torpedoed any chance of acceptance of people who identify as transgender.
In fact, the modern trans rights movement is the single worst thing that ever happened to people who call themselves trans.
Ill-considered and poorly-written laws may allow men into women's spaces, but the truth is: all men are men and not a single one is welcome in spaces designated for women.
And the social contagion of courage emboldening women to say NO to these men is now an unstoppable force.

🚨BREAKING 🚨
The courageous Sall Grover @salltweets has just been ordered to pay $20,000 compensation + additional legal costs of up to $100,000, as punishment for knowing that men are not women.
Jason 'Roxy' Tickle, seen in the video below, has been harassing Grover for five years.
The lawsuit he filed against her was based on his claim that he was discriminated against for being denied access to a women-only forum found on the app Grover developed, called Giggle.
This has resulted in Australia's legal test case for whether or not "gender identity" should supersede, and thus erase, women's rights. Today we learned that the courts of Australia prioritize the feelings of men who claim to be women over the reality of actual women.
Main Appeal Costs: Grover must pay the respondent's (Tickle's) costs for the appeal up to a maximum of $50,000.
Cross-Appeal Costs: Grover must also pay the cross-appellants' (Tickle's) costs for the cross-appeal, up to a maximum of $50,000.
When reading out the decision, Justice Melissa Perry said, "Ms Sally Grover and Giggle for Girls Proprietary Limited, engaged in unlawful direct discrimination against the respondent, Ms Roxanne Tickle, on the ground of her gender identity...
... thereby treating Ms Tickle, who is a transgender woman, less favourably than a woman designated female at birth, seeking access to the Giggle app... The appellants are to pay to the respondent a sum of $20,000 within 60 days."
"...The appellants [must] pay the respondents' costs of the appeal up to a maximum of $50,000... The cross-respondents pay the cross-appellants' costs of the cross-appeal, as agreed or assessed, up to a maximum of $50,000."
Tickle, the man who initiated the complaint, has been playing on a field hockey team for females - where he has said the youngest player is 15 - while also sharing photos of himself using the women's change room.
On his personal Instagram account, Tickle has also shared photos of his underwear and dilators, jokes about sex toys, and as well has posted several cartoons drawn by a Canadian transgender diaper fetishist.
The transgender movement enables the worst and most perverse men to utilize the law in order to terrorize women who oppose their displays of public fetishism and voyeurism.
The demands of men such as Tickle, men with sexual pathologies, are taken seriously by the courts while women who oppose them are publicly slandered. Gender identity ideology reduces women and girls to a male fantasy and fetish.

**Giggle v Tickle updates**
• Tickle has applied to cross appeal, wanting the decision upgraded from “indirect discrimination” to “direct discrimination” + more $$$ in damages and $$$ in aggravated damages.
• The Australian Human Rights sex discrimination Commissioner has once again applied to intervene. They intervened as amicus curiae in Tickle v Giggle and interpreted the law to favor gender identity over sex/legal sex over biological sex.
• The Australian Christian Lobby has applied to intervene on the side of sex based rights.
• The case management hearing is scheduled for February 12 at the Federal Court in Sydney.
• It is likely that the appeal will be heard in August, 2025. This appeal is to the full Federal Court. That means 3 Federal Court judges not 1. Due to the cross appeal, the hearing is likely to go for 3-4 days rather than the usual 1 in an appeal.
• The reason the Giggle appeal is to the full Federal Court and not the High Court is because the Tickle v Giggle decision got both facts about the case & facts about the law wrong. So it remains a Federal Court matter.
• After a full Federal Court appeal decision, the side who didn’t get the decision in their favor can apply to go to the High Court. As I have said from the very beginning, I am willing to do that if that is what is necessary.
• The Giggle legal team is Stuart Wood AM KC, Bridie Nolan, Anca Costin and Katherine Deves.
• The next updates will be after the case management hearing & will address whether the cross appeal & interveners were permitted.
• As always, thank you everyone for the endless support. It is invaluable to me. This has been a very long & stressful process for 3 years and it’s not over yet. Ultimately, I am very optimistic. In part because I know I am right - men are not women - but also because it is clear that the global capture of gender ideology is falling.

The Full Federal Court has handed down its judgement in Giggle v Tickle.
In a shock to women across the country - Sall Grover not only lost her appeal, the Court set aside the original finding of indirect discrimination and replaced it with direct discrimination, upholding Tickle's cross-appeal.
The damages were doubled from $10,000 to $20,000.
It’s important to note the Court expressly said it was only applying the Sex Discrimination Act as it is written- it is "not empowered to give effect to its own view" about whether that law is desirable.
In 2013, @JuliaGillard’s @AustralianLabor government amended the Sex Discrimination Act- stripping the meaning out of "man" and "woman" and adding gender identity as a protected attribute to be pitted against biological sex.
Today's outcome is proof of what those amendments have done: women are left with no meaningful rights or recognition under the Sex Discrimination Act - a bitter irony, given that protecting women was the very purpose of the Act under our commitment to CEDAW.
In my opinion, this is a verdict on the law, not on Sall. The judges found that the law - as that government amended it - left them no other conclusion.
These amendments must be repealed.
The Sex Discrimination Act must once again recognise biological reality and protect women's right to single-sex spaces.
What a dark and devastating day for Australian women and girls.

The decision by an EU country to grant refugee status to this Brazilian woman is significant for more than one reason. To begin with, it is the first of its kind (at least that we know of). It is also an acknowledgement that the threats and punishment imposed on women who assert their views on sex and gender can amount to persecution and that their lives could be in danger if forced to return to where they came from. Third, it acknowledges that the woman in question did not escape to avoid prosecution for an ordinary crime (as that would normally exclude you from refugee status). It is therefore reflects an understanding of the authorities in the European country of asylum that the charges and the risk of this excessive sentence are function as tools of persecution and not prosecution.
