Choosing schools for a kindergartener during the singularity is something else. Nobody seems aware of what’s happening.
Epic completely embracing AI and Valve emphatically rejecting it will be fun to watch.
We vibe coded the Epic Games Launcher to be faster than the other guy.

Claude: "Fresh-cache reuse passed: all 599 executable actions were cache hits, and the WebGPU bytes still match. The Bazel build portion fell from 23.5 minutes to 2.3 minutes."
Setup Bazel, y'all
Left Astra Ultra on for 3 days with the goal to reduce performance regressions by 80%. It got to 38%, but would often get into bike shedding minutia.
Gave the remaining 42% gap to Opus 5.5 and it identified a creative data oriented redesign that seems to be heading well beyond the original 80% goal. Very impressive.
Listening to AI D&B, while my Aussie AI coach guides me on my AI workout on the cycling simulator Claude made me this week, while I watch my agents produce 400k lines of code. Living in the future.
Experimenting with a game that has agentic NPCs and rewrites the game’s runtime luau scripts as you play. So much to explore here.
Who needs a game engine when you can have Claude read GDC presentations and build the same internal tools the pros are using
Many regrets getting a maxed out m5 MacBook Pro and only choosing 2TB of storage. Past me did not understand the realities of 20 rust worktrees using 35gb build caches.
Looked into exploiting my Ecobee Thermostat to replace Alexa, but seems far more viable now to make an ESP32 adapter that feeds off of the HVAC power and runs Muse.
🚨 side project alert 🚨
Announcing Muse Gadgets, an open source ESP32 firmware and Linux sdk so that you can make hardware devices that work with Muse.
Grab an API token from gadgets.muse.ai and point your favorite coding agent at the github repo to build your own peripherals for Muse.
Opus 5.5 is the first model I can have 24 threads in parallel and barely make a dent in my usage. Codex could never.
I created a private mcp for my agents to have access to my X bookmarks with full search embeddings on images and videos. It’s like they are hooked into my terminally online mind.
Wow, a Codex thread kept getting blocked by another long running one and so it sent it a message to get its act together and now they're sending messages to each other. First time seeing this, super cool.
Codex ending the chat and somehow switching from Sol Ultra to 5.5 Medium without warning should be illegal.
Used to invest so much time into fastlane and testflight CI for apps. Now it just doesn't matter anymore.
Literally can ask Codex to go do whatever provisioning profile nonsense required and it gets it done and the bane of iOS development is no more.
