Yesterday, I was honored to visit LaGrange College to deliver an initial $1.88 million federal investment in STEM education and workforce development at LaGrange College.  This funding will grow the Manufacturing Engineering Technology degree to prepare students for skills-based careers across our part of Georgia. Earlier this year, I brought the U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon to our Congressional District to discuss the need for additional investment in workforce development, and I am grateful for her support of LaGrange College’s 21st Century Workforce Readiness Program. Thank you to Dr. Susanna L. Baxter for your partnership, and thank you to Coach Wes Dodson for inviting me to visit your football team! @LaGrangeFTBL @LaGrangeCollege @CoachWMD @usedgov
