A week later from LI Retro 2026 and we still can’t wait to play with all of you again. Who’s ready for LI Retro 2027?

Without them, there would be no LI Retro. They may be NPCs in the background but they give everyone a main character moment. A tremendous thank you to the tireless volunteers, blue shirt staff, the incredible catering services from Taheni Cafe and Grill, and the amazing Cradle of Aviation team for putting on the best event in the game. But this year marked a significant change for our family as it would be the first LI Retro without our great Floor Coordinator and dear friend, Terry. It won’t be the same without you but we’ll always keep leveling up with you in mind. Play forever Mr. Taylor.

What a score as The Father of E-Sports, Walter Day verified and awarded with great honor to our High Score participants at LI Retro.

Incredibly proud of all tournament entrants and a massive congratulations to all the winners. They all showed it’s not the victory that matters but the journey getting there. Thank you for sharing your passion for the game with us at LI Retro.

Victory favors the bold. A thrilling tournament of a who’s who in Street Fighter III Third Strike presented by @bklynvideogames and @ArcadeBrooklyn that lit up the jets in the Hangar Arcade at LI Retro.

Cosplaying at level 💯

If you enjoyed your time at LI Retro, please let us know and hope you’ll come back again. Multiplayer isn’t as fun without you.

Is anyone else having a tough time at work today? Does anyone have a Time Machine that can go back three days?

Attended LI Retro? We want to hear your feedback in helping us further our goal in creating the best classic video game experience. All survey responders will be entered for a randomized drawing to receive free passes to next year’s show. eventeny.com/onsite/survey/?…

Legendary score keeper and referee @WalterDay signing off on verifying winners from our High Score Challenges this weekend at LI Retro. Truly an honor.

“Dad I don’t want to play this game 😭😭😭.” Hope you all enjoyed playing the classic edutainment game Mario Typing for Windows, featuring various levels for learning how to use a keyboard, in our classic PC Gaming Zone. As Mario would say, “sh1ft happens”!

What a blast it was play to games from around the world in our Import Gaming Showcase by @liretroimports! Imagine the thrill it would have been if we had these games in the US! Thank you to our Import Curator John Aguilera for an incredible selection and dedication to the craft!
