My Stand Against Malicious Prosecution and Negligent Investigation:
Over 4 years have passed since the peaceful Freedom Convoy which saw many truckers and supporters, including Chris Barber and myself, arrested on the streets of Ottawa. What followed was the longest mischief trial in the history of the Commonwealth. Both of us were convicted of mischief for our part in the most peaceful and polite protest of all time, and sentenced to 18 months of house arrest.
Even more outrageous? A single group photo at a JCCF awards dinner in Toronto while surrounded by lawyers, fully allowed under my bail conditions, triggered a Canada-wide arrest warrant for an alleged breach of conditions, which did not occur. There was no investigation. No call to my lawyer. It was issued like I was a violent criminal.
Homicide detectives flew me back to Ottawa in leg shackles, I lost my job, precious time with my family, was denied bail, and spent 30 days in remand. All for a non-violent mischief case.
I'm pleased to announce that I have filed a lawsuit against the Ottawa Police, the Crown prosecutor, and others for malicious prosecution & negligent investigation because this isn’t just about me; it’s about stopping this kind of abuse so no Canadian ever faces it again.
This will be a daunting undertaking and for that reason I have started a GiveSendGo campaign in hopes to help fund the fight, including a $25,000,00 retainer and costs estimated at around $100,000.00.
I've included the campaign link below and the full statement of claim is available at officialtamaralich.com
Thank you to everyone for all your love, support, and encouragement these past few years and for helping me continue the fight.

He ran on being unqualified for the job.
The world is healing. 😅
The judge argued that it is “cruel and unusual” punishment to block multiple murderers from applying for early parole.
Canada’s judiciary is a joke.
A BC Supreme Court judge says a section of the Criminal Code restricting multiple murderers from applying for early parole is unconstitutional, resulting in delayed sentencing for 3 men in the killing of an Abbotsford couple. #bcpoli #cdnpoli fraservalleytoday.ca/2026/10…

💥 MAJOR BREAKING: Two Indian nationals who tortured and murdered elderly Abbotsford couple Arnold and Joanne De Jong — after being hired to clean their home — have had the 25-year parole ban struck down as “cruel and unusual.”
Justice Brenda Brown ruled the 25-year parole ineligibility period is “cruel and unusual punishment.” Sentencing has now been delayed until 2027.
True story!
The crown attorney wanted more time in jail for @LichTamara than this murdering repeat offender got. 20 months for murder. Let that sink in folks. torontosun.com/news/local-ne…
These men didn’t just kill these sweet grandparents. Just killing them would have been a mercy.
They targeted them, terrorized them, and bludgeoned them to death in such a manner to suggest they revelled in it.
Arnold De Jong was found dead in his bed with duct tape violently wrapped around his entire head and face, smothered to death.
Joanne De Jong, was found in another bedroom and died of sharp and blunt force trauma to her head and neck.
Both had their hands and feet bound with rope.
The De Jong’s last minutes on this earth were brutal, horrifying and they suffered more than any human being ever should.
What about their “constitutional rights?”

Should’ve charged him with mischief I guess 🧐
In Canada, you can randomly kill a CBC journalist, and get out of prison to do more crime in just 1.5 years.
This is bullshit. Our criminal justice system is completely broken.
The Liberals who broke it aren’t going to fix it.

Alberta is already strong and the last time Canada was united it was crushed and trampled.
Option 2 is the only path forward to real change. The alternative is empty slogans.
Praying for the victims, their families, and everyone affected in Wainwright following this terrible tragedy.
TRAGEDY IN WAINWRIGHT, AB
A major incident occurred at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Wainwright, Alberta, on 17 Oct 2026.
A fire ignited in the training area around 4:00 p.m. Driven by high winds of up to 100 km/h, it spread rapidly beyond the base. Military and civilian emergency services are responding, and the fire is being held.
The Canadian Armed Forces confirmed that the incident resulted in fatalities and injuries. Edmonton hospitals were issued a "Code Orange" (mass casualty) alert. Reports from the ground indicate there could be north of 100 casualties.
Unconfirmed reports from multiple sources indicate that a gas line or well exploded after being struck by a shoulder-fired high-explosive (HE) round (similar to an RPG) after it "dolphined." This is a once-in-a-lifetime malfunction in which the projectile follows an unstable, wavy, up-and-down path, like a dolphin leaping out of the water, sending it far off course.
The explosion reportedly flattened multiple facilities where troops were training. The resulting fire was swept by high winds through the bivouac site where the majority of troops were camped.
Video 1: Devastation caused by the fire.
Video 2: More than a dozen CAF personnel parachuted into the Wainwright Health Centre to assist with the fire and medical response.
My thoughts are with the families, and with my son, who recently joined the CAF as a Combat Engineer. These are some of the very best young people Canada has to offer. Everyone who puts on a military uniform accepts unlimited liability on behalf of the rest of us. Even during peacetime, the risks they face are very real.

Sean Strickland is gonna get killed out here, man. Somebody stop this man. 💀
He was filming homeless people in Canada and couldn’t believe they were using drugs out in the open.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
HAPPENING NOW: With a record $13.8-billion deficit, a healthcare and housing crisis, and the courts stripping the province of control over private property, it's relieving to see BC Premier David Eby finally asking the important questions.
