really not sure what's going on with @Waymo, but it was a real struggle yesterday.
• i had my pickup car cancel on me twice (one ojai, one jaguar) -- i didn't even know this was possible
• car kept going in a loop (3 times!) and wouldn't pick me up until i had to force a new pickup location
• i tried the ojai but i don't understand why the car needs to be so big (when the jaguar fits the same amount of ppl!)
• ojai kept slamming the brakes every minute
• there's this airline-style mandatory safety video that spends half the time talking about how to escape in a power failure (!!)
• like usual it has really weird back alley street routing in SOMA
• with trucks parked beside an onstreet rail for busses, the car fully froze up for a few minutes causing all sorts of traffic until support took over
• couldn't have picked a worse spot to drop me off at
problems both from and to home. i've loved the highway driving in the past and still its incredible amazing tech, but something's regressing big time. @Waymo plz come back what's going on 😭
don't worry everyone, you can now drive straight off that cliff with your runway and you'll be just fine

the real thing we need to be concerned about is our billing systems becoming ai sentient. THATS the real dooms day event.
spent an hour-ish in Cybercabs today in Austin, it was incredible. i'd say "driving is for peasants" but it's only available in Austin right now 🫠. srsly though this is it.
other observations:
- holy crap do they jaywalk like crazy in Austin it is OUT OF CONTROL.
- car looks beautiful, shiny
- they pulled off the fancy lambo door, it's great
- car floor needs some new material, that carpet ain't gonna cut it, gets crazy dirty by 11pm, even 6pm
- sound quality not wonderful, youtube quality degraded too (but solid, no skips)
- supports all the things for audio/video incl youtube, no lag
- cool lights under the seats, it's a party in there
- turn signal's interesting, sounds when playing audio, not when there's video?
- pray it doesn't need to wash your windshield, you'll be seeing dripping water for 15+ mins
- no way to see behind you, no camera/mirrors
- DID I MENTION IT DRIVES ITSELF?!
