I think nearly anyone would benefit from reading @kevinmitnick's Ghost in the Wires.
I'm a weirdo who falls asleep to it every night (it's very entertaining).
But just reading it once will help you understand the strategies that scammers and phishers use.
. @vysecurity Vincent is right. This KeePass trick has been used for years. My team at Mitnick Security created this demo for KB4-CON months ago.
