Watched @Channel4 #GenderWars 3x now & perhaps wish I'd phrased a few things differently but I stand by my contribution & absolutely support the airing of the varied other voices from across the Sex/Gender "debate" spectrum. We need to talk & that may mean breaking ranks to do so

The collapse in violent crime over three decades has been one of the most striking developments of my lifetime. News is about what’s going wrong, and rightly so. But the bigger picture also matters From today’s figures:-

Yesterday in Plymouth, whilst Farage was publicly attacking me, I was facing something far greater. Lucy, my partner of seven years and the mother of my three children, had taken her own life. Lucy had been struggling with her mental health since the summer. She stood by me through every change I made. When we met, after I had served three years in prison, she didn't judge me. She saw who I was trying to become. Whilst Farage and other Reform MPs had been criticising and condemning me none of them chose to mention that I have spent the last eight years working against the extremism I once embraced. We had seven wonderful years together. But the press attention was hard on her: the knocks at the door, the comments, the remarks from figures in and around Reform UK, including Raheem Kassam, Nigel Farage and Robert Jenrick. It weighed heavily on her that her life was being shaped by mistakes I made a decade ago. Lucy was the love of my life and my soulmate. She is irreplaceable. Our boys will grow up knowing how much their mother loved them, and their care now rests with me.

The drone that killed one-year-old Anhelina circled above a park before dropping on to a nearby path and exploding. The shrapnel killed six people in Nova Vodolaha, a small town outside Ukraine’s second city of Kharkiv. The girl’s mother also died. The US in recent days has been accused of hampering Ukraine’s air defence by imposing connectivity restrictions on drone interceptors and delaying access to intelligence required to counter ballistic missiles 🔗 telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…
