One week left. This money ain't giving itself away. Current leader's score is just under 10%, and that's on the secret test set which is not contamination-free.
Something's been on my mind...

I hate this talking point tbh Hitler studied art, Goebbels studied literature, Goring studied history, Heydrich studied music Clearly humanities didn't make them not evil!
Replying to @opinonhaver
Tech people with no grounding in the humanities is how *gestures wildly* all this happened.

For any post-doc or grad student: pitch me one study (high level, ~1-2 paragraphs) that you would like to do and that's close to what we actually do. If it's interesting and logically presented you will get a Zoom interview.

I'm a little embarrassed but I guess since I have tenure I should be open; I caused the hurricanes. I can control the weather and double clicked out of habit. My mistake everyone.

These people are absolutely miserable, incapable of making real friends and connections because they are always "competing" with each other through these ego games. Ego-driven existence *is* "living chiefly for others". Circus and gardening is not.

This discourse is funny. CEOs are, in my experience, some of the most miserable people in the world. If they're going on "discovery" trips with drugs, they are already on their way out. It's not causative.
They're not diverting into making rockets and curing cancer, they're diverting into blank nothingness. 🤷‍♂️

This is why I will never call myself pro-union Union requests are not inherently good and should be supported or rejected on the merits. The dockworkers are just straight up rent seeking and make everyone else in the country worse off across all income levels
Replying to @MorePerfectUS
The ban on automation is also critical to secure their jobs for the long haul. One union-produced study found that robots eliminated 5% of port worker jobs on the West Coast. That would mean more than 2,250 East Coast workers losing their jobs.

I don't think the new vibes should be "bullying", personally.
Tim Walz on JD Vance: “I gotta tell ya, I can’t wait to debate the guy…that is if he’s willing to get off the couch.” 🤣

Gotta say, I think making "weird" into an attack doesn't land well with me. "Creepy" would have been better, but I thought we had reclaimed weird as a good thing.

Obviously I gave up trying to find the LEO Panelist's twitters but it was Joanna Kulezsca (Lodz University), Berna Akgali Gur (Queen Mary University of London), Jianping Pan (University of Victoria), and Tony Li (Juniper Networks).

This is a long screed for a short story. Democrats haven't lost "tech" they've lost VCs; this is because the incumbant monopolies (Google, Amazon, etc) have achieved regulatory capture of the democratic apparatus and are starting to leverage it.

These same VCs had achieved regulatory capture for the prior democratic administration(s), which largely manifested as little to no regulation. This led immediately to the current monopolies.
