Call me paranoid, but be extra careful visiting ANY web site in the next few days, as some web admins are not always up-to-date with security patches.
Two vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) reported for PHP, the web programming language, affecting servers running popular apps like WordPress and Magento, with patches released October 21, 2026 after details leaked early.
Exploitation was confirmed in the wild soon after disclosure, prompting quick WAF protections and patching by IT teams, as unauthenticated attacks could turn visited sites into vectors for credential theft or device exploits.
Stay SAFU!
Imagine mourning Al-Qaeda on 9/11
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.
A muslim terrorist pulled a knife out in the cockpit. After stabbing the pilot, he tried to take the plane down.
The Israeli passengers didn't wait. They broke down the cockpit door and stopped it with their bare hands.
Moral of the story: if your plane is full of Israelis, you have a chance.

The 30-year Treasury yield just hit a 26-year high.
Both 'safe havens' should have bled.
Instead:
Gold: -4.3% — rejected at its all-time high.
Bitcoin: +8.1% — while the ETFs absorbed $3 billion in a week.
Everyone's watching seven stocks. The real story this year is what a 5.5% bond yield is doing to everything else.
2026 YTD:
• S&P 500: +12%
• S&P ex-Mag 7: +13%
• Equal-weight: +9%
The Mag 7 isn't carrying this market — Tesla (-22%) is actively dragging it.
Meanwhile, quietly: Nike -44%. McDonald's -23%. Homebuilders -6%. All while the index makes highs.
It's not seven stocks hiding a flat market.
It's a 5.5% long bond eating the rate-sensitive half of America — and the index hasn't been told yet.
This is CRAZY. The reverse mirror image is so accurate it's scary. Very scary.
The inverse of the 10yr yield is.... $NKE .

New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.

Congratulations to @elonmusk and the SpaceX team. You did what countless people said was impossible, and you did it time and time again.
Today is your day. You deserve this. May it be a glorious one.
Good doc with @WilliamCohan and my brother.

Finding Satoshi is the best crypto doc ever made.
Approached the subject without bias and treated it for what it is: one of the great mysteries of modern times.
Spoke with super informed people, and beautifully explained Bitcoin's history and the key concepts that make it work.
I learned a ton I didn't already know, including about Len Sassaman, a fascinating character of history.
I won't spoil it, but there's a chance one of the people involved is cryogenically frozen and comes back one day to see how it all played out.
Worth the $18.
Artfully done @WilliamCohan, @tydamar and everyone involved in @findingsatoshi_

I just watched a beautifully crafted documentary, Finding Satoshi. This is a masterful storytelling of the history of the Cypherpunk movement. It reminded me why I'm here in the first place. @findingsatoshi_
