I gave a BlinkOn21 lightning talk on fixing drag-and-drop in Chromium 🚀 Multi-URL drag-and-drop is now supported. You can also download multiple attachments via drag & drop using the DownloadURL-list drag type. Plus, how Chromium interoperates with Firefox using JS File objects.

🚀 Long Animation Frames (LoAF) API now supports Web Workers in Chrome and Edge. Gain visibility into long-running tasks, diagnose worker-side bottlenecks, and uncover responsiveness issues beyond the main thread.
To enable: --enable-blink-features=LongAnimationFrameWorker
Excited to see scriptCount added to the LoAF API.
It reports how many JS entry points ran during a congested interval, helping developers tell the difference between: • a single long-running task • many short tasks overwhelming the event loop
A small metric with big debugging value.

JavaScript-constructed file drag-and-drop is now available in Chrome and Edge. To enable it, launch Edge or Chrome with:

Chromium Canary now supports native multi-URL drag-and-drop on macOS. You can drag multiple URLs using the text/uri-list drag data type from Chromium and drop them into native apps like Keynote or Pages. It also works with Safari. This will ship in Edge/Chrome 152:
