Why don’t we tell every Director to just take a break for the next 5 to 10 years and let Mike Flanagan direct everything and by everything I mean Stephen King adaptations and legacy sequels.
It’s absolutely rotten. If you’re going to go to the theater in inebriated and yell at the screen, you’ll love it. Otherwise, you have been warned.

Watched The Black Phone and The Black Phone 2 with my son. His first time seeing both. Wound up having good conversations with him about not only the “Stranger Danger” epidemic people my age grew up with, but also, understanding how grief & trauma can affect people & their behavior.
