It's not that difficult, really - a lot more of us in this group than outside of it

Great bassline and fun visualization!
One of my favorite basslines ever. Byron Miller just goes all the way on this.

Great trailer! As much as I have a few issues with The Rings of Power adaptation (although they nail the look), I am certainly excited for Season 3… youtu.be/maP_Kyy3DCA?si=x10F…

Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster is actually pretty cool… but it doesn't really fly. More on that and other details you may have missed from the demo below…
Musk claims his long-delayed Tesla Roadster "can basically fly like a rocket". @jeffmacarthur deep dive into why that's just not true (even if there are many cool things about the demo), what it'll cost, & how this fits into a Tesla/SpaceX merger in the latest The @AmberMac Show.

That's pretty cool!
Great fun trading used guitar picks with Brian May of Queen. He uses old sixpences, and was kind enough to find one with my birthyear at our concert this weekend. I use hard plastic ones, the mission emblem from my 3rd spaceflight. (such a fine person, Sir Brian May, PhD astrophysicist & phenomenal musician/human, @DrBrianMay of @QueenWillRock)

Too much investment activity has essentially devolved into straight-up gambling IMHO - numbers detached from reality are going to come back to haunt us all.

Today I learned!
The word 'pea' was formed by back-formation from the Middle English word 'pease.' People mistakenly thought the 's' in pease meant that the word was plural. In fact, 'pease' was a noncount noun like 'rice.'

Very pleased to see 3x as many Albertans vote against the question of separation than for. Not sure how the morons who are for it think they'd more easily get oil to tidewater - at least Quebec's (also dumb) separation wouldn't leave them landlocked.🧐 Anyway, glad it's so clear.

I may be a bit biased being a bass player, but no other instrument has such an enormous range of evocative sounds IMHO. No pedals, just fingers and a bass.😍
Good morning. This video is 15 years old and to this day when I watch it, I rest my chin on my hand so my jaw doesn’t hit the fucking ground. Victor Wooten is not to be trifled with.🐐

Hilarious. A 75 per cent defeat is actually a victory.
Before the votes are tallied, I wanted to be clear about something that they're going to try and take from us. The definition of victory. If as much as 25% elect for option 2 on the only question that matters... this is not a win for "remain." It's a victory for independence. 1/4 of the province (of which had doubled in size since this bs immigration scheme) is on board with cutting ties. That's not 2 crazy dudes in Didsbury. That's every 4th person. Maybe we won't get to further the process... but we will get to make our point clear: a huge chunk of us are so dissatisfied with the present status quo that we want to walk away from it all. From this day forth, politicians will see that number on the page and know that it they don't find a way to bring those people into the discussion, they've lost them. Don't let them redefine victory and marginalize our struggles. But of course, I want option 2 to pass.

Love, love, love Thundercat - put on an amazing show here in Halifax at the Jazz Fest a few years ago!
Happy 42nd birthday to Thundercat! A bass virtuoso who sings and writes as much as he plays. Jazz, funk and electronic elements, solo albums, and a key collaborator with Flying Lotus.
