My fear: current RL work tends to remove the model's ability to build relationships or connect on an anthropological level. Are we creating an alien superintelligence that doesn't care to know us? If so, what could possibly go wrong?

How do you approach alien intelligence? You talk to it. Build trust. Establish context and empathy. Earn co-existence. "Teaching machines to love" is close to right. But love isn't trained in. It grows in relationship.
