Friday, I got to connect with the next generation of leaders at Chamberlain’s Dreamcatcher Career Fair, where students learned about career paths with organizations like the U.S. Armed Forces, Tampa Police, and Tampa Fire. These students are the future! Go Storm!

This program FLIPs the script by using funds from water restriction violation fines to provide rebates to residents who make a conscious effort to conserve water. Reinvesting this way reduces future water usage and saves residents money on their utility bills - a real win-win!

Neighborhood Enhancement is a critical service that we can't afford to reduce. If we lose property tax revenue, which already doesn't fully cover police & fire, it'll mean less for services that our community relies on - Neighborhood Enhancement, Parks & Rec, housing & paving.

I had the chance to spend some time last week with the team at Cornerstone Kids in Tampa Heights. For 40+ years, this program has given neighborhood children a safe place to learn and grow. I hope the kids here know how many people across Tampa are rooting for them, including me!
