J&Ks environment is no joke. Forestry students study 80 subjects over 4 years. Just as only an MBBS student can become a doctor similarly Forestry posts can only be filled by candidates who’ve studied Forestry which is a professional qualification. Especially given the massive deforestation & environmental degradation in Kashmir.
Request Forest Minister @JavedRanaa & @OmarAbdullah Sahab to consider changing their recruitment rules. You cannot choose petty politics always over logical policy decisions.

Visiting mosques in Muslim countries, praising their grandeur and projecting respect for Islamic sentiments and heritage. Yet at home, a 120 year old heritage mosque near the Prime Minister’s residence faces an eviction notice threatening its very existence. This glaring contradiction between admiration for mosques abroad and blatant disregard for the religious sentiments of India’s own Muslim community is mind boggling, to say the least.
