Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at an Air Force base: "We have the readiness, the determination, and the capability to strike our enemies the moment it is required. Our enemies will suffer harsher blows than they have suffered up to now."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Issues Israel's National Security Doctrine to the Public:
"The October 7, 2023 attack compelled Israel to wage a fierce war. Through continuous combat – from Gaza to Yemen, from Lebanon to Iran – Israel warded off an imminent existential nuclear threat and removed the chokehold of the Iranian axis. The Government and the Security Cabinet made well-considered decisions, the IDF and security branches struck with immense force, and the civilian home front stood firm.
The War of Redemption necessitated an upgrade of fundamental principles within the traditional national security doctrine, among them: giving priority to prevention and offense over containment and defense, including launching preemptive strikes to thwart evolving threats; strengthening home front defense against new threats; cementing Israel's status as a regional power; building maximum independence in munitions; ensuring superiority in the most advanced technologies; and intensifying the fight against global waves of antisemitism. Concurrently, opportunities have been created for forging new alliances in our region and beyond."
The Prime Minister's security doctrine was formulated with the assistance of the National Security Council (NSC) and NSC Director Shmuel Ben Ezra.
The Prime Minister's Office:
ALLEGED ATTACK ON EUROPEAN DIPLOMATS: SERIOUS ACCUSATIONS REQUIRE SERIOUS EVIDENCE.
We urge caution before drawing conclusions from today's reports that European diplomats were attacked by masked Israelis in Judea and Samaria. Any violence against diplomats is unacceptable. The more serious the accusation, the greater the demand for compelling evidence.
Here is what we know:
- The diplomatic delegation entered a sensitive area with a history of confrontations without prior coordination with the IDF, as officially confirmed by the military. Such coordination is essential to protecting visiting diplomats and preventing violence.
- The visit included Bernard Baudoux, a French Communist Party mayor who previously raised the Palestinian flag over his municipal building, prompting French authorities to order its removal.
- Published footage shows masked individuals confronting a diplomatic vehicle. Separate images show a smashed window and a person lying on the ground. These images alone do not establish the complete sequence of events or individual responsibility. Those circumstances remain under investigation.
- Israeli police and forensic investigators have launched an investigation to establish the facts and identify those responsible.
These reports come amid concerns about a coordinated campaign to smear Israel and the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria during the annual olive harvest, relying on sensational headlines before the full facts emerge.
We may see further allegations in the coming days. By the time the evidence is fully examined, the reputational damage from premature conclusions may already be done.
We call on the public and responsible journalists to demand verifiable evidence, reject hearsay, and refuse to turn unproven allegations into a collective indictment of the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.
The Prime Minister’s Office:
The facts surrounding the confrontation near Abu Falah, during which Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine was allegedly assaulted, remain unclear and are under investigation.
Israel unequivocally condemns violence against anyone—Jews, Arabs, Christians or journalists. Those responsible will be held accountable.
But serious questions remain. Reports indicate some 200 Arabs and far-left activists confronted approximately 40 Israeli youths. Footage shows masked individuals on both sides hurling objects, amid reports of fireworks fired at Jewish youths. Other footage appears to show Levine knocked down and immediately helped to her feet by the same unidentified individual.
The investigation must establish the facts, including who initiated the violence.
We will not allow disputed incidents to be exploited to demonize the hundreds of thousands of law-abiding Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.
The facts must determine the conclusions. Not the headlines.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
Something remarkable is happening in Latin America - it’s all coming back! The great friendship and deep sympathy between our peoples. 🇮🇱🤝🌎
And Colombia just made it official - the 10th embassy in Jerusalem, Israel’s eternal capital! 🇮🇱🇨🇴
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the new barrier area being established along the eastern border, accompanied by Defense Minister Israel Katz, Head of the Borders and Seam Line Administration Maj.-Gen. Eran Ofir, Division 96 Commander Brig.-Gen. Oren Simcha, and other commanders.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the ongoing and completed efforts to reinforce defense along the border and strengthen security components on the eastern border.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
"I am here in the Jordan Valley near Kibbutz Massada, together with the Defense Minister and IDF commanders. What you see behind me is the massive barrier we are building along the eastern border, from the Yarmouk [River] to Eilat. We are building this as an addition to our security. This is in addition to the security zones we hold in Lebanon, Syria, and, of course, the Gaza Strip.
We are surrounding the State of Israel with a massive barrier, but not just that. There are forces here, there is a work plan, anti-drone plans, I won't go into details. Simply maximum defense so that we can protect the citizens of Israel and prevent anyone from even thinking about invading the State of Israel.
There is enormous work here – massive engineering work, massive logistical work, mobilization of the Israel Defense Forces, mobilization of the reserves. All of this power comes to say to Israel's enemies: Do not test us."
Defense Minister Israel Katz:
"What the Prime Minister showed here is an important component of the security plan, the defense plan, the security zones, the fence, the forces. But this comes only in addition to the primary element – an active, pro-active offensive policy led by the Prime Minister, the State of Israel, and the IDF, facing distant Iran and close threats alike. First and foremost: Offense, the destruction of the enemy, the removal of threats, alongside strong defense for the citizens of Israel."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Remarks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Reception Celebrating the Inauguration of the Embassy of Colombia in Jerusalem:
“Thank you to the Ambassador of Israel to Colombia, and the Ambassador of Colombia to Israel. And dear ambassadors, dear friends, in so many countries, in so many continents.
I'm going to tell you something that will absolutely shock you. I've been prime minister for a while, you know. And in 2017, I discovered an amazing fact. No sitting prime minister of Israel in almost 70 years of our history ever went south of Texas. That's as far south as we got. And I said, well, that's impossible. And I checked. It was true. No sitting prime minister of Israel went south of the Rio Grande.
So I decided we have to change that. It's all of Latin America. It's a huge chunk of humanity, a huge and important part of the world. And I thought, okay, I'll go.
And the first place we went to, Sara and I, three places: Colombia, Argentina and Mexico. It was a great visit, very friendly in every one of these countries. And by the way, a year later, I think we went to a small country called Brazil, to the inauguration of President Bolsonaro. Who knows? We may do it again.
And not accidentally, a year later, 2017, I think, or 18, my wife, Sara, led a delegation of the Foreign Ministry, not to an earthquake, which we just did again in Colombia, but to a volcanic eruption in Guatemala. And she led a mission of mercy and assistance to the children of Guatemala, and the creation of a neighborhood called New Jerusalem. Douze points. Exactly.
So there are these deep connections that went awry, they were completely derailed because in Argentina, in Mexico, in Brazil, and I regret to say in Colombia, there was a new pharaoh, pharaohs, who did not know Joseph or Gideon or Benjamin, and it all went down to the global woke alliance. It just went down and down and down.
And now I have to tell you that something remarkable is happening in Latin America. It's all coming back. It's all coming back. The great friendship, the great sympathy, the deep sympathy between our peoples. A real friendship. It's based on, yes, interests. I'll talk about that in a minute. But it comes from the heart. It comes from values. And I have to say that President Abelardo de la Espriella said it exactly, and you said it, Omar, exactly. It's a common heritage. A Judeo-Christian heritage that started in this city, this city. The city of the prophets, the king of Israel, the city of Christianity. This is where it all began. and it forms a very strong bond between our peoples. Not only the past, but seizing the future.
We want to seize the future together with security, with agriculture, with water, with AI, with everything, with everything. We want to make it grow, not only the crops, the people, the children. Give hope. This is what we're about.
We're about life and hope, and we face, exactly as was said here, a death cult that has gripped parts of the globe. A battle of civilization against barbarism. We stand for civilization. We stand for life. We stand for hope. And we're willing to fight the barbarians.
And we appreciate those who stand with us. And Colombia stands with us. Great courage, great courage and foresight of your president. Please send him my warmest regards. We spoke on the phone. But yes, I'd love to visit with Sara, Colombia again, Bogota. You have a beautiful country, beautiful people, and you deserve the future that you now will get.
You have no better friend than Israel. We believe that we have no better friend than Colombia.
And some great friends who are here as well. I appreciate the support from countries in Africa, countries in Latin America, countries elsewhere. Our friend, the United States of America, President Trump did a great thing here.
So to have the 10th Embassy, the 10th Embassy, the minyan, is a great thing. That's a great development.
And Sara and I want to visit. We hear it's spectacular. We want to visit your embassy. If we can do so in the coming days, I'd appreciate it. We'll let you know. We want to come.
So thank you. Thank you, Colombia, for this friendship.
And I can say that there's no better place to celebrate it than in Jerusalem, because it has been the pulsating heart of the Jewish people for three millennia. It's our past, it's our future, it's our hope, it's our faith.
And I want you to know that in many ways, when people come to my office, I have a map of the world, not big enough because it encompasses only parts of Africa and the Middle East and Europe. I want to give now an instruction to my staff: Please change it. Put a map that includes Latin America. Please do it, all of Africa and all of Asia, because the world is coming back.
But I think that they see two other things below the map. They see a small model of the Merkava tank, an F-35. I call it power. And then they see right next to it a copy of the Bible. That's called faith. Power and faith. That is what governs our hopes. That is what governs and protects our future. And that is what we bring to our alliance together with you, Colombia.
Thank you, Colombia, and congratulations on a wonderful, powerful move of power, courage, and faith.
Thank you to the ambassador of Israel to Colombia, and the ambassador of Colombia to Israel. And dear ambassadors, dear friends, in so many countries, in so many continents.

LIVE: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Remarks at the Inauguration Ceremony of the Colombian Embassy in Jerusalem, at the @IsraelMFA

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke a short while ago with MDA Director-General Eli Bin and asked about the condition of those who were injured in the explosion at the Intel plant in Kiryat Gat.
The MDA Director-General updated the Prime Minister that they were swiftly evacuated to Soroka Medical Center where they are receiving optimal care.
Prime Minister Netanyahu wished the injured a speedy recovery and thanked the rescue forces who acted swiftly and decisively.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the seam line today, accompanied by the Defense Minister, the Director of the National Security Council and the head of IDF Central Command.
IDF, ISA and Border Police commanders briefed the Prime Minister on the defense efforts for the seam Line communities, as well as the significant defensive efforts conducted in the villages around the clock to arrest terrorists, confiscate weaponry, and address any threat emanating from them.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
"I am here with the Defense Minister and IDF officers at what is known as the seam line. Behind me is the former Tulkarm refugee camp, which was a terrorist stronghold. The IDF entered, cleared it under our direction, and did an excellent job, not just here.
I heard there is someone in the High Court of Justice saying that the residents should be returned here. These are not residents, these are terrorists. The one who will control this territory and remain in it is the Israel Defense Forces. There will be no Arab army west of the Jordan River; there will be the Israel Defense Forces.
You have to understand, we are minutes away from Netanya, minutes away from the coastline. Israel's narrow waistline will no longer be narrow. We maintain security from the Jordan River to the sea. Our country, our control.
Beyond that, I want to tell you that it is true that there are alerts here. Our enemies are thinking of testing us these days ahead of the elections. I warn them that we are prepared for any scenario, including what is called a ‘turning of weapons’. The IDF presented to me and the Defense Minister a firm and strong plan. In such a case, I do not advise our enemies to test us. You will encounter a force here that you never dreamed of.
We will continue to safeguard the security of Israel here, at the seam line, and everywhere. We are establishing communities here, over 104, and many farms. We are safeguarding the security of the State of Israel."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu went to Rambam Hospital together with Education Minister Yoav Kisch to visit those who were wounded in the severe incident in the north, and their families. The Prime Minister instructed the Commander of the IDF Home Front Command to reinforce the guidelines and warnings for the general public, emphasize the strict prohibition against touching unexploded ordnance, and to conduct extensive searches to locate unexploded items.
Eitan Masauri, a 14-year-old student who was injured by shrapnel in his neck, recounted the incident: "I realized I was hurt; I saw that a friend was injured, and I tried to help him."
The Prime Minister's Office:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been updated on the details of the severe incident in the north and spoke with MDA Director General Eli Bin, Education Minister Yoav Kisch and his Military Secretary.
The Prime Minister asked to ensure that the injured are being evacuated as quickly as possible to hospitals and is continuing to hold ongoing assessments.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
I condemn in the strongest possible terms the horrific terrorist attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which claimed the lives of 12 innocent people and injured hundreds more.
On behalf of the people of Israel, I extend our deepest condolences to the families of those murdered and our wishes for a full recovery to the injured.
Terrorism targets innocent people and seeks to spread fear and instability. It must be confronted with resolve.
Israel looks forward to a strong Middle East—one that stands united against threats, protects its people, and builds a future of security, cooperation, and prosperity for all the peoples of our region.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
I commend President @realDonaldTrump and @SecRubio for taking this critical decision to sanction the ICC.
The ICC is not a court. It is a political body that poses a mortal threat to law abiding democracies worldwide and to the very idea of national sovereignty.
Thank you for your leadership.
The Nobel Prize committee has lost its moral compass. It has awarded its highest honor to a bigot who built her career around inventing and propagating blood libels against the one and only Jewish state.
Navi Pillay’s proudest achievement was to legitimize a corrupt prosecutor who turned to her fabrications against Israel hoping that by joining her bigoted lynch mob, he would beat a rape charge.
Karim Khan, who was accused by his own ICC employees of raping and sexually molesting them, used Pillay’s lies to build a fake case against Israel.
Pillay supplied the lies. Khan weaponized them. And now the misguided members of the Nobel Committee are honoring the woman who propagated this demonization of the Jews and this travesty of justice.
Director of the National Public Diplomacy Directorate Tzipi Hotovely presented to the creators of the film "NAZA: The Real Story" – Ariel Averbuch, Roi Danino, and Hagay Gutman – a Certificate of Recognition for their contribution to Israeli public diplomacy. The film, which presents testimonies from soldiers, refutes the blood libels against IDF soldiers and commanders, thereby defending our soldiers and the State of Israel.
Director of the National Public Diplomacy Directorate Tzipi Hotovely:
"The film presents Israel's truth and the morality of IDF soldiers in the face of the blood libels and lies being spread against us around the world. The film, which has gained tens of millions of views, exposes Hamas's crimes and its vile use of the civilian population.
I thank the filmmakers for their initiative, their proactive approach and their creativity. You embody the extraordinary spirit of our citizens, and I am proud to give you my full backing and recognition on behalf of the National Public Diplomacy Directorate and the State of Israel."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today in his Jerusalem office the Vice President of Paraguay, @AllianaPedro. They discussed strengthening relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister welcomed the Vice President on his visit to Israel, asked to send his warm regards to President Peña, and thanked Paraguay for its friendship and steadfast support for the State of Israel throughout the war.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Paraguayan Foreign Minister Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, Paraguayan Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development Rolando de Barros, Head of the National Security Council Shmuel Ben-Ezra, Foreign Policy Advisor Ofir Falk, and the ambassadors of both countries.
Prime Minister's Office Spokesman @DoronSpielman on @NEWSMAX:
"On October 7th, we felt like we were going through the Holocaust. Today, Hamas is decimated, Hezbollah is brought to its knees, and Iran's leadership is eliminated.
Standing strong alongside America, we now see an entirely new reality."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
I want to congratulate my great friends President @MiloradDodik, President @Cvijanovic_Z, President Minič, and the SNSD for their decisive victory in the Republika Srpska elections this week.
I look forward to years of close cooperation expanding and deepening our nations' cooperation in technology, energy, security and beyond.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
Today, I lit a memorial candle at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, commemorating every victim murdered on the 7th of October by the monsters of Hamas.
The nation unites on this day in the longing for our dear ones. We will complete the mission: we have settled the score and will continue settling the score with all the murderers.
