None of your people ‘fell for it.’ They always knew they had no proof before calling someone guilty, their witch hunt and media trial has always seen the same consequences and your “fellow anchors” refuse to not do it again… from Rhea to Zubair to News click to many more… so it’s clearly a criminal act and it can’t be excused as “fallen for it”. Because someone who falls for it once is always careful the next time.
I was constrained to remind my fellow anchors today of how a small news website @newsclickin was falsely targeted as ‘foreign funded’ Chinese operation and its editor Prabir Purkayasta wrongly jailed for several months. News channels fell for the falsehood and some actively pushed it. Sorry for the noisy debate but happens once in a while when one is really angry. 🙏 #DemocraticNewsroom
