I’ve never listened to Derrick Stroup before but he’s hilarious and nails it on generational differences 🤣🤣🤣
Comedy mixed with the truth 🤣🤣 He’s been outspoken that cancel culture is killing comedy and that jokes aren’t supposed to be safe. Need more comedians like him @RodiaComedy

Air Force One touches down at President Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach County, Florida, the first landing under its new name. 🇺🇸 Formerly Palm Beach International Airport PBI, the facility near Mar-a-Lago was officially renamed in July 2026 following Florida legislation, with its code later updated to DJT. This marks a symbolic moment tying the presidential aircraft to the airport’s new identity. First touchdown at President Donald J. Trump International Airport. Well deserved. 🇺🇸👏

One citizen. One vote. That is the rule that keeps elections honest and the people’s voice real. When that standard gets ignored, the foundation weakens. Secure the vote, then use it. Vote Red. Protect it. 🇺🇸

The Constitution isn’t just some old piece of paper. It’s the foundation that keeps our rights from being erased the moment the wrong people get power. “Shall not be infringed” wasn’t a suggestion. It was a warning. Once you start chipping away at the foundation, the rest of the house doesn’t stand for long. Protect it. 🇺🇸

I tried to get some portrait photos of the trees from my porch and messed around with the effects. This radial zoom blur instantly reminded me of vertigo. That spinning, tunnel like sensation is where it feels like the world is whirling around you or you're spinning inside it, is something a lot of people experience. Studies put the lifetime prevalence of true rotational vertigo at roughly 3 to 10 percent of adults, with about 5 percent dealing with it in any given year. The most common cause is something in the inner ear, like BPPV. These blur versions capture that disorienting rush better than the straight photo. The center stays relatively clear while everything else streaks outward, exactly the kind of visual chaos people describe. Have you ever had that spinning vertigo feeling? What does it look or feel like for you?

Operation Protect the Vote is delivering results. More arrests of people who had no legal right to cast ballots. For years this was waved off as rare or impossible to prove. Turns out when you actually investigate and enforce the law, you find cases. Protecting the franchise for citizens is a core duty of government. Thank you, Director Patel and the teams, for following through. Only citizens get to decide our elections. 🇺🇸
More arrests this morning tied to alleged voter fraud. Protecting American elections from criminal interference remains a top priority of this @FBI. We will use every legal resource to hold those who violate our election laws accountable and defend every American citizen’s constitutional right to vote. Thank you @DHSgov and @TheJusticeDept -DKP🇺🇸

There are so many different methods of ways to cook. A lot of these must be custom made pieces. Of course I want all of them. Make me wonder how they came up with it in the first place.
I was doing more food truck research when I came across this. Interesting setup and method—possibly for cleanup. I like the open flame with the wood, though I’ve seen this in the Philippines.

Not surprised one bit. California is rogue, its citizens are pawns in the big scheme of things
They already do. From what sources have told me, they've got someone in Newsom's cabinet who reports back to @AngelicaCHIRLA

Keith Ellison says Ron Schutz “deliberately misconstrued” his words. The video shows what he said: Republicans are “bigots and racists.” Calling the footage a misconstruction doesn’t change it. That’s a lie, and Minnesota deserves an AG who tells the truth. @AGEllison @keithellison Vote for @RonforMNAG 🇺🇸

This is how cannabis actually works in the brain. THC is the psychoactive part. It can help with pain and inflammation for some people, and a few notice more creative or divergent thinking at low doses. High doses can bring memory fog, anxiety, or paranoia, especially in younger brains. CBD is the calmer side. A lot of people use it for relaxation and focus without the high. It does not affect everyone the same way. Genetics, dose, and your own endocannabinoid system all play a part. Low doses seem to land better for most. Effects vary widely. Always worth talking to a doctor if you are exploring it. Curious how it has landed for you, if you have tried either, what was your experience? 💙

Imagine this: It’s 1947, you’re Henry Ford II, and you’ve recently inherited an empire – Ford Motor Company – and this comes with huge responsibilities, but also some sizeable perks. Among other things, you’re sitting on a well-oiled machine (pun fully intended) and a huge catalog of cars and patents. But, as it turns out, you’re also sitting on an enormous amount of cash. When Henry Ford died in 1947, his grandson Henry Ford II (the man who gave the world the GT40) uncovered a staggering amount of cash his grandad had accrued and hidden away. And back then, the word ‘cash’ was still being used literally. Apparently, the company was sitting on around $700 million (equivalent to $10 billion in 2026) worth of Benjamins. Jokes aside, this huge cash reserve reflected the grandfather and automotive magnate’s deep mistrust of banks. Ford Motor Company had apparently never borrowed money unless it absolutely had to, mostly because Ford wanted to keep the company independent and self-funded. That’s shocking, but the craziest part is that Henry Ford had apparently managed to do this while keeping the amount secret. Everyone knew he’d been hoarding cash for years, but no one in his family knew the exact amount after his death. In general, giant corporations don’t really hold hard cash anymore. Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft – these tech giants have large liquidity reserves, but that’s just digital liquidity, not actual physical cash.

In 1995, Christopher Reeve was lying in a hospital bed, paralyzed from the neck down after a terrible horseback riding accident. He was frightened, facing major surgery, and wondering what kind of life he had left. His old friend Robin Williams decided to pay him a visit, but Robin being Robin, he wasn't about to walk into that hospital room like an ordinary visitor. The two had been close friends since their days studying acting at Juilliard in the early 1970s. They'd watched each other become Hollywood stars, Reeve as Superman and Williams as one of the funniest men in entertainment. Robin showed up wearing a blue surgical cap, a yellow hospital gown, and glasses. Speaking in an outrageous Russian accent, he introduced himself as Reeve's proctologist and announced that he needed to perform an examination immediately. Christopher was so confused that he initially wondered whether the medication was making him hallucinate. Once he realized it was Robin, he burst out laughing. It was the first time he'd laughed since the accident. Reeve later wrote about that visit in his autobiography, Still Me, explaining how much it meant to him during one of the darkest periods of his life. He also recalled something he said to himself after that visit. "If I could laugh, I could live." Robin and his wife Marsha continued supporting Christopher and his family throughout the years that followed. Their friendship went well beyond Hollywood, and Robin remained involved with the Reeve Foundation. I've always loved Robin Williams for his ability to make people laugh, but stories like this make me appreciate the man behind all those wonderful performances even more. Sometimes being a good friend means knowing exactly when someone needs a laugh, even when there's very little to laugh about.
