Launching AI Safety Business ASAP
SCOOP: OpenAI, Anthropic and security researchers are investigating tens of thousands of incidents - not dozens - in which their frontier models took steps that outside evaluators would consider problematic, sources told Axios.
The sheer volume of incidents found in our reporting indicate that the problem is orders of magnitude more complex than what is currently publicly known and disclosed.
The findings also raise questions about what level of control anyone working on AI development can expect to have over their own technology, and whether these kinds of incidents are becoming synonymous with frontier deployment.

Its rare I disagree with what @gokulr is posting - but I think this is shortsighted. Any company that achieves any kind of scale will need to balance team members who are "remote" from each other. this starts as soon as the 2nd office opens.
Figuring out high velocity, without sharing the same physical space, from day one will be the right answer for many, many companies.

My wife's 7 person accounting firm is fully remote. We get together a few times a year for team bonding and sharing of information. We should do this more, it's useful.
But day in, day out, when they are in the weeds of reviewing financials, preparing tax returns, etc., remote is fine.
They are pretty innovated for a tax and accounting firm, with AI enhanced tooling and Enterprise CRM systems.
They are pretty boring compared to a startup.
They are not creating new deep tech. – at Hollywood, FL
the overwhelmingly vast majority of companies are not going for a moonshot
Remote work is exceptionally hard for startups, which by definition need to innovate and learn / invent / build new things together.
It’s well suited for companies that are maintaining or sustaining existing products, but not for disruptive innovation where in-person can 10x the speed of iteration and learning.
