The scheme offers less employment space than required by the Council’s policy. Only 11% would be low cost, compared to 100% now. It would not be suitable for a studio There is a huge loss of Cultural value to the borough. 8/8

The previous two High Court losses have cost the council in the region of £200,000.Whilst 50 market flats are proposed there is no affordable housing in the scheme. The amount offered to Hackney towards off site affordable housing has decreased from £757,076 to only £177,000 7/10

Hackney Council have called a planning committee meeting this Thursday, 10th March, to determine the future of the Holborn Studios site (49/50 Eagle Wharf Road). Whilst we are in no immediate danger, and we have the court process to pursue (again) as a worst case scenario 1/6
