The latest firmware version of this Rockwell PLC was released 20 years ago and added new support for writes via an embedded web server. I'm sure this will all work out ok, Matt.

We backdoored a 7B open model for under $50. Pointed Codex at it -> it silently stole credentials the moment we hit the trigger phrase. ->100% hit rate. -> zero false triggers on normal prompts. Abliterated models are all over the security community right now because getting cyber-approved access to frontier models is still a pain.

We were excited to host our annual meeting at Pebble Beach this past week - this year our guests of honor were Alysa Liu, Olympic Gold Medalist and US Figure Skating Champion, and HD Moore (@hdmoore), creator of Metasploit and founder of runZero (acquired by Accenture last week!) It was fun watching one of the world’s most influential hackers meet the woman who walked away from figure skating in order to redefine it on her own terms Both have had spectacular careers full of highs and lows, intensely hard work, and long stretches of time where their professional choices were criticized for breaking from industry norms It was an honor to celebrate their successes this year and share in the joy of their personal journeys. Their stories are a reminder that greatness often comes from having the courage to challenge the status quo in order to show the world a better way Thank you to all of our guests this year, including Vasek Mlejnsky (@mlejva) from E2B, Elias Manousos (@emanousos) from Ent Security, and all of our LPs who traveled from around the world to be with us - we look forward to seeing you next year!

1) any Halvar presentation is worth digesting; 2) for sure “a (perhaps uncomfortably) exciting time in technology”; 3) even though he’s dented the worlds of RE && vuln-dev, his slides are beautiful && grok’able leetness, aesthetics & being understood aren’t mutually exclusive.

When we released WeWorm, we called for greater collaboration to address the risks of AI-powered cyberattacks. Today, The New York Times published a second article exploring why this matters: nytimes.com/2026/09/11/world… We also published our practical to-do list for collective defense: strengthen zero-click defenses, fund defensive security, proactively red-team critical infrastructure, and build open tools for real-time detection and containment.
