Most would be excited about seeing SGA and KD going at each other (we were too). However, my son and I were most excited about seeing star rookie Bennett Stirtz check in last night.
Stirtz is so smooth, so good, and he publicly gives glory to God while putting his faith in Jesus. He is an incredible role model for children and beyond.

My parents are celebrating 53 years of marriage today. Together they:
• Battled and prayed through 10+ years of infertility.
• Were blessed with three children in 1983, including twin boys in January and another boy in December.
• Had their fourth child who was supposed to be Amanda in 1985. They ended up naming me Craig once they found out I was their fourth boy.
• Built their life around their children while putting their love and commitment to each other front and center.
• Raised the family with Christ and in the church, including baptisms, confirmations, regular Sunday attendance, and prayers before nightly family meals and at bedtime.
• Built two businesses, including the Doty family farm led by my dad and 30+ years as a business owner for my mom as a hairstylist.
• Their love for each other continued to blossom after the kids were out of the house. They regularly go to concerts, sporting events, meals at restaurants, and travel together.
• They are incredible grandparents to their nine grandchildren, supporting them in a multitude of ways.
Happy Anniversary, Dad and Mom. Your children, grandchildren, and so many others love you and are grateful for you.

The cumulative data shows the midrange shot is a poor shot. However, most teams have one player, and some have a couple, who shoot elite percentages from midrange. For a coach to take away the midrange shot from a high-level scorer who has proved to be efficient is just silly.
*Pay your mortgage in the paint and from 3.
*Make your car payment with the midrange.

It was amazing taking Amery and Sienna on a Daddy-Daughter night to the Phil Wickham concert in Houston tonight. It was a 2+ hour worship service from one of the best Christian artists in the world. The girls and I had a BLAST!

It was a fun day in Houston as we watched my childhood favorite team and our family’s favorite, the Atlanta Braves, clinch the NL East Championship.
2023 NL MVP Ronald Acuña came over and signed autographs minutes before first pitch. It was cool for Amery to get his autograph while also wearing his jersey (note: somewhere in our trek from the vehicle to the stadium the black sharpie disappeared, but Amery thinks it’s more special because it’s in pencil).
We caught a foul ball which went to Sienna and the kids had a blast overall. The Astros gameday team know how to put on a show as they provided entertainment for all ages throughout the entire ballgame. Shout out to my Cubs fan wife, @AlexysDoty, for walking 4+ miles in the concourse while pushing a sleeping Christian in the stroller.
Go Braves in the playoffs and good luck to the Astros as they battle the Rangers for the AL West Championship!

We celebrated Christian turning one this weekend. Children are a blessing. This boy brings so much joy to our family of seven.

Coach Bachtel and his staff had our men ready! President Sloan would have been proud.
What a start to the season. First win of the year against an FCS-ranked opponent on the road and 1-0 in the Southland all at once.

Watching the Braves and pitching to Calvin. Life is good! Little man has a pretty nice swing for a four year old. He loves ball.
HCU Elite Camp tomorrow is FULL with 130 registrants.
We had an early camper arrive and take a photo with Coach Doty. He’s about 6’7” and is as strong as an ox. He is ready to check in the game and rip some rebounds down!
Note: It’s actually @CoachTJohnson_ and he is ready to help run camp tomorrow!

The first day of school send-off started at 5:15 AM with Braylon, ended with drop-off at 8:00 AM for the girls, and continues all day with Calvin and Christian.
New district. New schools. New opportunities.
* Braylon = Senior
* Amery = 2nd grade
* Sienna = Kindergarten
* Calvin = Attending Mom’s Major League Baseball training academy at home
* Christian = Official member of Mom’s organic kitchen and workout program
Here’s to a year of progress, enjoyment, learning, and friends for our children.
