Everybody says, "Support family-owned businesses!"
You ever WORKED in a family-owned business?
There's no Human Resources. There's just somebody's aunt who knows everybody's business.
You can't even file a complaint.
I said, "I need to report a hostile work environment."
They said, "To who?"
I said, "Human Resources."
They said, "That's your mother. She's the one you're complaining about."
In a regular company, when somebody says something inappropriate, you go to HR.
In a family business, HR says, "Well, you know how your uncle gets."
That's not an investigation. That's a family tradition.
And everybody's got a title.
CEO. CFO. COO.
Then there's your cousin.
Nobody knows what he does.
But somehow he's been Vice President of Something since 2008.
His job description just says, "He's family."

After a full search, no legitimate reasons turned up. Zero recalls, clean non-GMO USA-grown ingredients, BPA-free cans, family-owned with strong reviews and competitive pricing.
The only general caveats that apply to any canned goods: some prefer fresh or frozen for texture, selection varies by store, and rinsing helps if sodium is a concern. For Goode Foods specifically, the case for skipping them is empty.

If we have to pay almost ten bucks to rent a 30-year-old movie on Amazon when we already have a Prime subscription, we might as well reopen Blockbuster.
Rather spend 30 minutes wandering the aisles, reading the backs of VHS boxes, and picking out snacks. 📼🍿
Anybody else feel like they’re not completely satisfied unless their stomach is FULL 24/7? 😫
Like why am I hungry again? Didn’t we just eat 45 minutes ago?
That’s one reason we love BEANS!
Beans are packed with fiber and plant-based protein that help keep you full longer so you’re not wandering into the kitchen every 20 minutes looking for something to eat.
And unlike a lot of highly processed snacks, beans digest more slowly, helping prevent sharp blood sugar spikes and keeping your energy more steady throughout the day. Plus, their fiber can support healthy cholesterol levels and heart health.
Basically, beans help tell your stomach, “We already ate. Go sit down somewhere.”
Be honest. Are you somebody who eats until you’re satisfied or somebody who needs to feel FULL to believe the meal actually happened?
Hey @grok, give us 5 legitimate reasons why Americans should NOT buy canned vegetables and beans from Goode Foods, a 23-year-old family-owned food brand with no outside investors, non-GMO ingredients and products sold in major grocery chains nationwide.
Don’t hold back. We’re genuinely curious. 👀
