The post-mortem on the September 4 incident is now available. It explains the Superfluid issue on Celo, the impact across Celo and XDC, and the response and recovery.
Since then, all protocol functionality has been restored, and the protocol has returned to its pre-incident state:

The refund transactions have been executed. Eligible wallets should now have received their refunds in line with the report and, where applicable, the outcome of their appeal.

Update: The GoodDollar Recovery Burn and Refund Report is now live.
The targeted G$ burn has been completed as part of restoring normal G$ market conditions and liquidity.
This process applies only to the few wallets included in the reviewed recovery accounting. Eligible refunds will be sent on 15 October.
No action is needed unless your wallet is included in the report and you believe the result is incorrect. Appeals must be submitted by 13 October 2026, 23:59 UTC.

The GoodDollar Reserves on Celo and XDC, as well as bridging, are now unpaused. Full GoodDollar protocol functionality has been restored.
Good Labs Foundation has contributed over $103,000 to ensure the GoodDollar Reserves on Celo and XDC continue operating at their pre-incident liquidity levels and support normal G$ market conditions.
Liquidity in secondary G$ markets remains limited. Buying or selling G$ through the GoodDollar Reserve is the recommended path.
If using another swap route, always carefully review the quoted price, slippage, route, and amount to be received before confirming the transaction.
Yesterday, GoodBuilders Season 4 came to a close.
Three months ago, eight teams entered the season with working products, ambitious ideas, and one challenge:

Yesterday, Season 4 ended.

GoodBuilders Season 4 showed what eight teams could build around G$ in three months.
Season 5 will be another opportunity to push that frontier further.
Season 4 gave us 8 products, 5,300+ users and 21M+ G$ moved.
Now comes the next question: What will builders build next? What becomes of the products already built with the protocol
