do this before buying any coin.
when a coin is pumping hard, you’ll suddenly see a ton of kols talking about it
no matter who it is, even someone you trust, if they’re telling you the coin is going higher, don’t rush in. Why??
if the coin really does have more upside, your risk - reward is already worse because you missed the best entry
if it doesn’t keep going up, yeah congrats, you just became exit liquidity for the people shilling it
either way, chasing a coin after a big pump usually means more risk for less upside
risk management always matters.
(just to be clear, this image is only for reference, Im not talking about any specific coin)
i keep seeing posts about ZIG finance partnering with WLF and everyone’s saying the same thing
barely anyone is talking about zig itself or why its tokenomics actually matter

the only coin under $100M market cap that I'm particularly interested in right now is ethereum:0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01
until you actually cash out, its all just numbers on a screen
$5,000 → $50,000 → $7,000
Roundtripping is not fun.
Sometimes it hurts even more than taking a loss because the money was literally in the palm of your hands.
And yet, you still fumbled it.
It's a lesson most of us have to experience ourselves, and one I've fallen victim to plenty of times.
So here's the reminder: ALWAYS PAY YOURSELF
I know how hard it is psychologically. When you're in an uptrend and everything is flying, taking profits almost feels like a loss
Your brain will find a bunch of reasons to justify holding your position longer.
But you simply have to do the opposite of what your brain wants. That's the only way you make it in this game.
Survival > everything.
The pain of roundtripping generally hurts more than the pain of missing out on another 2x. Remind yourself that the next time you're euphoric and don't want to take profits.
You can have the highest conviction you've ever had. The market can be ripping. Liquidity can be flowing. Everything is going perfectly.
And then one random catalyst can completely change the way your coin trades.
Look at $TRUMP.
When it launched, it sucked an insane amount of liquidity out of the rest of the market. Projects that looked unstoppable suddenly weren't.
You can never be too comfortable in crypto.
As @cobie once said: "When everything doesn't feel risky at all, is actually when it's the most risky."
So pay yourself and offramp.
High volume uptrends are where you should be laddering your stack out, not adding risk.
And when the inevitable downturns come, you'll be thanking yourself for those actions. It's just delayed gratification.
Because at the end of the day, nobody cares about your uPnL. They care about what you actually took home.
Don't let greed convince you that unrealised gains are yours, because they're not.
This is also a reminder to myself too as we head into this new bull cycle.
BlackRock understands the importance of blockchain.
We're going to see a lot more major companies and institutions around the world bringing their products and services onchain.
the gap between TradFi and onchain is getting smaller.

If you're only focused on altcoins, stop worrying so much about Bitcoin
When Bitcoin goes up, not every altcoin goes up with it.
And when Bitcoin drops, not every altcoin drops either.
That was true in the last cycle, and it's still true today
What we need to do is find and pick quality altcoins instead of focusing too much on Bitcoin's price.
If Bitcoin only goes up from here, even better because then we'll know the downtrend is over.
But if Bitcoin keeps dropping, that also gives us an opportunity to accumulate the coins we've already picked.
By the way, I'm talking about mid to long-term investing here, not trading.
NVIDIA’s boss has some serious pull ngl. Dude drops his very first post and it instantly blows up on x.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.
