I doubt there will ever be a disapointment like the one we went through in 2024. But it did tell me that there are people out there that really don't care about the state of our democracy, so forewarned is forearmed.

You should do your homework before making a fool of yourself. My father was a staunch Democrat his entire life breaking away only twice: he voted for Nixon because of his stand on China ("I don't think we can sweep the millions of Chinese under a rug" and for Reagan because he was a loyal friend.

Today, I sent a letter putting New Jerseyโs port and terminal operators on notice: importing Russian diesel violates federal law and could carry serious civil and criminal consequences.
New Jersey will not stand by while Donald Trump supports Vladimir Putin at the expense of Americans. Instead of lowering costs, these imports help finance Putinโs war against Ukraine and a campaign of violence and terror that endangers our servicemembers abroad.
As a Navy veteran, I cannot let that stand unchallenged. Our ports must not be complicit.
