📷 📷 Why not use natural materials as tent pegs? These Scouts were sharpening their knife skills by crafting tent pegs out of wood. They also learned the importance of knife laws, essential techniques, and safety #SkillsForLife @Scouts

Today is World Bicycle Day 🚲! Thank you to @GOoutdoors Cycling Badge, our Beavers & Cubs can pedal their way to adventure while learning to keep safe and basic bicycle maintenance #SkillsForLife
Cubs from the 1st Woodmancote Panthers Pack had an action-packed weekend at Cranham! 🏹 They enjoyed archery and air rifle shooting and topped it off with delicious toasted pitta pockets. A weekend full of fun and adventure! #SkillsForLife @Scouts
Summer camp season is officially here! This weekend, Beavers across the County had an amazing time camping outdoors. They made s’mores, put up tents, faced their fears with some climbing, and even learned a few circus skills! And guess what? Even our volunteers had a blast!
This weekend the team at BUSHSCOUT.UK put on a fantastic Skills Day for volunteers across the South West! Days like this empower volunteers with the practical skills & confidence they need to deliver amazing Scouting experiences; it's #skillsforlife for volunteers too!
🎉 Happy St. George's Day from Gloucestershire Scouts! 📷 Today, we celebrate the legendary bravery and chivalry of St. George, the patron saint of scouting. Let's honour the values of courage, kindness, and service to others that are at the heart of scouting.
🏴It's with great honour that Ryan Hawkins, representing Gloucestershire, was part of the Team of Ten providing support and colour party at yesterdays @scouts Windsor Day of Celebration & Achievement 2024. We're proud of you, Ryan! 📷
✨Its with great pride to congratulate Lily Hough, Alex Jenkins, and Rhys Herschell-Burns who, today at the Windsor St. George's Day, have been awarded the prestigious Coronation Medal for their outstanding representation of @scouts during the Coronation #SkillsForLife

🎭 What's worth doing on a Saturday afternoon? Watching lots of @scouts & @Girlguiding put on a rather spectacular Gang Show! Well done to all @gscouts who took part! I took our Beavers for the first time--some want to join next year!
Happy Founder's Day!
Let's reflect today on how Scouting brought us together to create a better world 💜
Nose-to-nature explorations with Wye Valley Falconry 🦅 Curious Beaver @scouts getting up and close, learning about birds of prey and the history of falconry #SkillsForLife
These colder nights are an excellent opportunity to take some time to explore the night sky! These Beavers from 1st Woodmancote saw plenty of stars, Jupiter, the Moon and even a very faint Saturn #SkillsForLife
When it's a pretty (almost) clear night, why not take the Beavers out to see the night sky! We worked on the @scouts Space Badge, learnt about @astro_timpeake & worked in lodges to build the @Space_Station.
Also, @OreoUki helped explain the phases of the Moon! #SkillsForLife
🎄Whether you're celebrating Christmas or another tradition, may this season bring joy to all. In unity, let's support those facing challenges. Big thanks to our incredible volunteers! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Gloucestershire Scouts
