It was National Pothole Day this week, so you may have seen lots of press coverage about potholes, along with encouragement to report any on roads in your area.
Head to FixMyStreet.com or download the FixMyStreet app to easily report potholes and other local problems.
Thank you to everyone who has used FixMyStreet this year to report local problems.
Reports from members of the public play an important role in helping authorities to identify & prioritise issues.
From all of us here @mySociety, have a peaceful festive season & a happy 2025. 🎉
We'll be watching with eager anticipation from 09:30 today - at some point during BBC Morning Live, our @zarino will be talking about FixMyStreet and how you can report uneven pavements! bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0025l0…
We are thinking of those of you affected by flooding & other damage caused by Storm Bert this morning. 😔
A reminder that urgent, danger-to-life problems should be reported directly to emergency services or appropriate utility companies.

These photos were taken just one day apart. I reported this fly tipping on the @fixmystreet app and @DundeeCouncil cleared it swiftly. Community reporting apps such as this are a great way for communities to see change in their local area and improve the environment!

I speak to @fixmystreet, @fabcoach and @KelhamWalks about how to report graffiti, bad parking and fly tipping in a MUCH easier way with @mysociety; about Sustainability Netwalking with @sheffsen and @SheffSustainNet; and about art and history walks around #Neepsend
Fly-tipping is up there among the most frequently reported problems on FixMyStreet. We send reports to the correct authority, and make them visible to the public for communities to see what's been reported and what's being done.

Congratulations to @deirdrecostigan for securing a debate in Parliament on fly-tipping.
We must see a change in the rules that forces those who are guilty, not only to pick up their mess but also to pay the full price too.

Tree in trouble 🌳🛑
We're often seeing trees that are at high risk of failing as a result of their planting conditions. If you see a tree in trouble please report to your council directly or via an app like @fixmystreet (And chase up if nothing is done).
Be a tree friend 💚
ALT Three trees that are being damaged by the structures they'd been planted into - be it the straps, cages or pit frame. These need immediate attention.
Good morning! 🌅
We are currently carrying out some scheduled maintenance on FixMyStreet, which may cause some brief disruption to the service. We should be done by 7am, so please try again a little later on if you want to make a report.
