🗣️ ‘getting sacked in the morning’
🗣 "I'm going to get sacked, it's my second day on the job!"
The awkward moment @finnysteve forgot who he was commentating for 🤦♂️ 😅

A warm welcome to @finnysteve to the lead commentator's chair! 🤝
And who better than his old teammate Sir Alastair Cook to help him settle in?

We're looking forward to catching up with all of the @bbctms team @HomeOfCricket later this week as the cricket community unites for #RedforRuth to support families where a parent has incurable cancer. Thanks to all the TMS presenters for their ongoing support.

Legend Prakash! Great working with you again. Congratulations to India! 🇮🇳
A huge Thank You to everyone at @bbctms and specially to @tmsproducer @henrymoeranBBC @finnysteve Matt Henry and Jack Wood along with all the wonderful folks who managed the incredibly complex logistics for the trip. Grateful for the company of @CRBrathwaite26 @FirdoseM @wvraman & @ghosh_annesha as well. Blessed and privileged to have been part of the team bringing parts of the ICCMT20 WC to listeners around the world. We often don’t realise how very fortunate we are.. doing what we get to do, make friends, riding the inevitable ups and downs and debating and discussing issues with strong opinions. Wish my friends leaving today safe travels - Hasta Maniana!!!
PS: the final result was very heartening - but the game of the tournament for me was definitely the SF in Mumbai!!

A great game that England come out on the right side of. What a performance from Italy though! So great to see so many different countries competing in this World Cup. It can only be a good thing!

Was the fourth #Ashes Test a good advert for the sport? 🏏
Jimmy Anderson and Steven Finn discussed on the latest episode of The Edge 🗣️
So, my time in Australia is done. Always love visiting and being able to sit behind the bowlers arm and watch. It’s the best view in the house. Have really enjoyed being part of the coverage for the Ashes on @tntsports, even if the results haven’t been the way we wanted. Until next time Australia 🤗

Finished reading @finnysteve’s book this morning, an incredibly honest and candid account of the ups and downs of his career. Highly recommended.

Out now!
It was a privilege to work with @finnysteve on his first book.
It charts his unique experience of the Ashes: winning in Australia in 10/11 aged 21; 'not selectable' in 2013/14; and a dream comeback at Edgbaston 18 months later.
