The monopolists who rule our economy think and operate like this
Stunning clip here of a powerful railroad CEO openly and illegally threatening those who didn’t support his illegal monopolistic mega-merger attempt.

I’m proud of the race we ran. We helped drive turnout and broke the super majority in the state house and senate. 2028 is around the corner. LFG!

NYT: “I’ve voted for every Republican since I was 18 years old. This year, I voted for every Democrat. If there was one under a rock, I’d vote for them today.” Kenneth Hessen, 69, who said he was most concerned about health care access. He said the only in-network hospital for him in Council Bluffs, Iowa, was at risk of closing because of cuts in President Trump’s signature legislation, the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Angie Nixon: You can't allow people to get off the hook and say, "I don't do politics." It's doing you. It's doing you at the gas pump. It's doing you at the grocery store. It's doing you in terms of health care and your college education. It's all political.

North Dakota could be the next state to pass universal school lunches. The state went for Trump by 37% in 2024, but next week voters will be able to directly choose to feed kids at school. Supporters say it's not a liberal or conservative issue, but a human issue. And with prices going up and up, Measure 2 could change the lives of hungry kids.

In Colorado a minimum wage worker pays the same state income tax as someone making a billion dollars, 4.4%. But on November 3, voters could approve an amendment that would reduce taxes for anyone making under $500,000 a year, and raise taxes on the rich.
