DJ’ing and standup comedy are really similar i think. -callbacks for sure -testing tracks and then working on them in the studio based on how audience reacts -working out certain transitions and refining them over time

I love callbacks in DJ sets. Tease a track, introduce a couple of subtle elements of it over the course of a couple tracks, play a totally different drop or two, maybe have em think you forgot about that track, and then BAM. SUPRISE NO I DIDN'T
