VOLATILITY ALERT 🚨Ether prices (ETHUSD) slip as hotter inflation keeps Fed rate-hike expectations.
Hotter-than-expected US inflation for September has put pressure on ETH, keeping another Fed rate hike on the table and leaving markets cautious.
Markets now see around a 16% chance of a hike this month, rising to over 90% by December. Investors pulling back from AI-linked trades have added indirect pressure, pushing ETH to its lowest level since August.
US spot ETH ETFs have recorded net outflows for three weeks in a row. BlackRock’s ETHA accounts for over 80% of the redemptions, according to Farside Investors.
With Ethereum’s Glamsterdam upgrade approaching, moves by large holders could add more pressure. Justin Sun has reportedly shifted most of his ETH holdings into US stocks.
Next up: US economic data could shape short-term sentiment and drive volatility, alongside the network upgrade.

US30 stalls below the trendline ↔️
On the daily chart, US30 retested 51,600 and reached the descending trendline, where it’s now hovering just below. The index is trading near the EMAs, which are starting to flatten, a sign that the sideways move could continue.
If US30 breaks above the trendline, it may keep rising toward the immediate resistance at 52,800.
On the flip side, staying below the trendline could lead to a retest of the immediate support at 51,600.
Would you buy or sell?
The pound traded in a tight range ahead of UK employment data. GBPUSD retreated toward the support at 1.3300 after retesting 1.3340. The price stays between both EMAs, suggesting consolidation. Falling below 1.3300 may prompt a decline toward the support at 1.3280 and EMA120.
The euro traded steadily despite French unrest and renewed fiscal concerns. EURUSD approached 1.1235 before retreating below it. The price fluctuates around flattening EMAs, reinforcing sideways momentum. Closing below both EMAs may prompt a retreat toward the support at 1.1180.
Bitcoin prices traded volatile amid the absence of catalysts in the crypto markets. The price shows weak downward momentum while being around EMAs, suggesting a potential consolidation. Remaining above 81500 may prompt the price to fluctuate within the 81500-84000 range.
A clean line on a chart means nothing until price proves it.
