I own a 2024 Model X (HW4) and a Model Y here in Belgium. Same roads, same FSD (Supervised), same speed offset setting, and two very different drivers.
On the X, FSD stays well under the limit, even below 50 km/h in a 50 zone with the offset set to +50%. It hesitates when pulling away, and I often have to tap the accelerator to get it going. The Y drives those same roads normally and sometimes goes a bit over the limit, as you'd expect with an offset.
Other European owners seem to report the same thing. The speed offset barely seems to do anything here, maybe because of EU rules, and S/X/Cybertruck keep coming out behind 3/Y.
My guesses are less training data for the X, no front bumper camera on the 2024 X, or extra braking tuned for European regulations. Maybe a mix of all three.

After my BRF reportage on Tesla FSD Supervised, I’m starting a small personal project: Robotaxi en tour
The idea: a reportage for 𝕏 with people who’ve never tried it. We hop in my Model Y and I show what FSD Supervised can actually do on our roads (assisted and supervised you stay responsible; this is not a driverless robotaxi).
Looking for lots of different profile: women, men, young, seniors, curious, skeptical… the more mixed, the better.
