Who will mourn Northline Street, if the City Council eliminates what may be New Orleans’ shortest, most confusing street. nola.com/entertainment_life/…
I love this pink ghost of a Coke bottle on the door of what was Lulu White’s Saloon at the edge of what was once Storyville.
Read all about it: City Council considers cancelling what could be the Crescent City’s shortest, most confusing street … in a newspaper near you.
In case you haven’t heard the word about the Krewe du Vieux … nola.com/entertainment_life/…
Exactly!

So does everyone! My family and I were there to celebrate my son’s 50th birthday. When the Olympia Brass Band came in and a table full of trans women/men marched around Gal’s with bottles of champagne pouring them into peoples glasses it was hilarious. One of them poured champagne into my vodka and tonic. By that time I didn’t care! We had 1:30 reservations and left right before 6pm. But and importantly we all had drivers. Better safe than sorry. But Galatoire’s is nutso on a Friday! I love it. So New Orleans! 💯💯✅✅🍸🍸🍹🍹🍺🍺
This must be said: The fried eggplant appetizer at Galatoire’s is the craziest dish anywhere. The tarragon-forward Béarnaise sauce makes perfect sense. The powdered sugar is nuts. I love it so much.
